1. Print G3 protocol dump list fax SP 6-103 and check baud rate in column FIF denoted with a K after
number.
2. If baud rate is 14.4K or lower set SP 1-105-004 bit 2 to 0 to turn off V.8/V.34 communication. Do
not set to 0 unless line condition is always bad enough to slow down data rate to 14.4 kbps or lower.
3. If more than one G3 interface unit is installed follow the same procedure using SP 1-106-004 bit 2
to 0.

Change the number of rings till a call is detected.
