iPhone

The iPhone is the first cellphone capable of running phone calls, connecting to the internet,
receiving e-mails, listening to music, and navigating with a human finger. Apple's founder, Steve
Jobs, is proud to introduce the initial generation iPhone on January 9, 2007, at the MacWorld event
in San Francisco, United States. He said the iPhone would redefine the meaning of a cell phone.
That claim is proven true. iPhone is able to change the mobile industry as a whole. Until now, the
iPhone still maintains its image as a premium product, innovative and elegant in design. Not
infrequently the design of the iPhone is used as a center for other products. Its features also often
inspire smartphone vendors. During 10 years of acting, the iPhone has appeared in 15 series.
Following the evolution of the product,

1. iPhone (2007)
This cell phone caught the attention of the US public and technology lovers around the world.
For the first time the cellphone comes with a large screen and its navigation uses a touch
mechanism.

2. iPhone 3G (2008)

As the name implies, the second generation iPhone from Apple already supports 3G and GPS
connections. The biggest increase can be seen from the latest iOS operating system that is
increasingly qualified. Users can access push e-mail and download various mobile applications in
the Apple App Store application store.

3. iPhone 3GS (2009)

Basically the 3GS series is a 3G series with some updated specifications. For example, a faster
processor, and a camera with a higher resolution to record 480p video.

4. iPhone 4 (2010)
The fourth generation cell phone from Apple came back with a surprise. For the first time,
Cupertino manufacturers created Retina display technology that made the color of the iPhone 4
much sharper. The design of the cellphone also experienced an overhaul of being thinner and
made of stainless steel. There is also a 5 megapixel camera for video calls and selfies. The
processor is using A4 and paired with iOS 4 to help multitasking activities.
5. iPhone 4S (2011)
Apple is again updating the dual-core processor and camera components on the iPhone 4S. The
company brings the latest services such as iCloud, iMessage, Siri, Notification Center,
Reminder, and is integrated with Twitter.

6. iPhone 5 (2012)
Apple changed the design of the iPhone 5 screen to 4 inches with a ratio to a thinner cellphone
body so it seemed elegant. In this fifth generation, the iPhone also supports 4G LTE fast internet
connection.

7. iPhone 5S and 5C (2013)

2013 was Apple's productive year because it launched two series of iPhones at once, namely the
iPhone 5S and 5C. The iPhone 5C has the same hardware specifications as the iPhone 5.
However, the iPhone 5C uses polycarbonate material on the back.

8. iPhone 6 and 6 Plus (2014)

Apple CEO Tim Cook received both praise and criticism when introducing the iPhone 6 and 6
Plus. Because the Plus variant carries a 5.5-inch phablet screen that Jobs dislikes.

9. iPhone 6s and 6s Plus (2015)

The first iPhone output line of 2015 was equipped with 3D Touch technology or similar to Force
Touch which had previously been introduced on Apple Watch products. Users can touch light for
one function and press harder for other functions.

10. iPhone SE (2016)

Price of iPhone SE. (ist) In early 2016, Apple released the iPhone SE line. The product marked
the debut of an iPhone without a model number, after Apple first launched a smartphone in 2007.
The iPhone SE screen is back tiny, which is only 4 inches. The reason, many iPhone users who
want it.

11. iPhone 7 dan 7 Plus (2016)

Some of the most significant are the IP67-certified waterproof features, dual camera lens on the
Plus variant, and removal of the 3.5 mm audio port. The benchmark price of the iPhone 7 in the
US is priced starting at 649 US dollars or equivalent to Rp 8.5 million. While the iPhone 7 Plus
variant is pegged starting at 769 US dollars or Rp. 10 million.

Current iPhone models are iPhone 11, iPhone Pro 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Max. These three
iphone models were released in 2019. iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are the successors to
the iPhone XS, while the iPhone 11 is the successor to the iPhone XR. All three have different
screen sizes, the iPhone 11 has a 6.1 inch stretch, the iPhone 11 Pro 5.8 inches while the iPhone
11 Pro Max 6.5 inches. One of the changes that stands out is the presence of more than one camera.
iPhone 11 is equipped with two cameras namely 12 MP for wide angle and 12 MP ultra-wide
camera that supports 12x optical zoom. Not only that, the chipset used was also improved, which
uses a Bionic A13 cipset with 7 nm fabrication which is claimed to be the fastest CPU and GPU.
While for the iPhone 11Pro and iPhone Pro Max 11 comes with three cameras. Two 12 MP
resolution cameras for Wide Camera and 12 MP for Telephoto Camera functions, and one
ultrawide lens to take 120 degree angles with 12 MP resolution. All three are priced at the lowest
price of US $ 699 (Rp. 9.8 million) for the iPhone 11, US $ 999 (Rp. 14 million) for the iPhone 11
Pro, and US $ 1,099 (Rp. 15.4 million) for the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

In the future Apple has a plan to launch the latest releases, which will certainly be more

sophisticated than before. Apple plans to launch an iPhone with 5G technology in 2020. Apple's

5G technology will be provided by Intel, which is now Apple's partner in the iPhone modem

business. The source said, Apple and Intel are now experiencing a slight problem related to battery

heat when a 560G 8060 modem is applied. Another plan, apple will leave the Lightning port that

has become Apple's trademark, to be replaced with a more universal USB-C. Furthermore, after

the status of anti-water, Apple finally also wanted to make the iPhone can be operated under a

shower. This is done by creating technology that can detect finger movements on the touch screen,

in wet conditions. Launching Apple Insider, this technology has been patented with the name

"Finger tracking in wet environment". This is indeed not possible with a normal touch screen.
Because the screen that relies on electricity will change its electric field if it is hit by water. In fact,

just sweat will make it different.

iPhone 11 vs iPhone XS design

The iPhone 11 is more striking than the iPhone XS in a few ways. First, it’s slightly larger.
Also, it comes in six colours instead of three subdued ones. These shades include purple, white,
“Product Red”, green, black and white. The iPhone 11 also has a new milled glass back. Its camera
housing sticks out slightly, and Apple added contours to a singe piece of rear glass rather than
taking the 'easy' route. Most companies would simply use a separate piece of glass for the camera
cover. Both phones are a metal and glass sandwich. Glass panes sit on the front and back, a band
of metal runs around the sides holding them together. The metal used is different, though. Apple
uses aluminium in the iPhone 11, steel in the iPhone XS. This is a classic case of ultra-high-end
meeting simply 'normal' high-end design clashing. The bezel surround the screen is also slightly
thicker in the iPhone 11, just as they were in the iPhone XR. There is one practical design benefit
to the iPhone 11, though, as it has tougher glass than the iPhone XS. Both phones also have water
resistance tested at 2m depth for 30 minutes.

iPhone 11 vs iPhone XS display

The displays of these phones are very different, even if they do look similar at arm’s length. Both
have the classic iPhone notch style, which doesn't help comparisons. Apple’s new iPhone 11 has
a slightly larger screen, at 6.1 inches to the iPhone XS’s 5.8 inches. And the tech behind the surface
is completely different. The older iPhone XS has higher pixel density, with 1125 x 2436 pixels to
the iPhone 11’s 828 x 1792. Panel technology is different too. Apple’s iPhone XS features an
OLED panel with effectively perfect blacks and very deep, rich colour. The iPhone 11 has an LCD
screen with a universal backlight, which means blacks won’t look perfectly black in a very dark
room. Phone LCDs can’t reach the colour depths of OLED, either. However, Apple uses some of
the best LCD panels around, so don’t think this is a reason to turn your nose up at the iPhone 11.
Brightness should be similar too. Apple rates the iPhone 11 at 625 nits, and most readings say the
iPhone XS manages slightly over 600 nits. Side by side the iPhone XS will likely look a bit bolder
than the iPhone 11. But equally you could argue the extra size makes the iPhone 11 better for both
video and games, even if they aren’t always quite as sharp when you look critically.

iPhone 11 vs iPhone XS camera

The iPhone generation camera comparison is a little challenging. Both phones have dual rear
cameras, but where the iPhone XS’s second camera has a telephoto lens with 2x magnification,
the iPhone 11 has an ultra-wide lens. If you want optical zoom in a new iPhone, you’ll have to
upgrade to the iPhone 11 Pro or 11 Pro Max, which costs around $300 / £300 more.
All four of these phones’ rear cameras have 12-megapixel sensors, but is an ultra-wide better than
a zoom? It depends on context. If you want to capture a big group of people or emphasise the scale
of a building, you want an ultra-wide. Want to get closer to the action without moving? You need
a zoom. A zoom is likely more important in making people’s images 'better', as so many of us still
use digital zoom rather than moving to compose with a standard 26mm-ish lens. The iPhone 11
does have some real advantages, though. It has Apple’s new Night mode, which merges nine
exposures to get the same kind of bright, high dynamic range shots you might get from a Huawei
P30 Pro. Low-light image quality has been an iPhone weak point for several years now. Its camera
app also lets you see a some of the area around the main camera view, handy when you’re not
quite sure if you need the wide view or not. The wide has a 120-degree view of the scene, which
Apple likes to call a “2x zoom out”. Both the rear cameras can also shoot video at 4K, 60 frames
per second, with dynamic range enhancement. The iPhone XS’s main camera can shoot at 4K/60
too, but we can’t be sure yet if it’ll get all the same processing upgrades in a software update. The
iPhone 11 also has the upper hand for selfies. Its sensor has been upgraded to 12MP, from 7MP in
the iPhone XS. And Apple has had a hand at making up its own term, “slofies”. These are slow-
motion selfies, essentially short slow-mo videos you’ll likely share on social media or WhatsApp
with friends.

iPhone 11 vs iPhone XS battery

As the iPhone 11 is actually based on the blueprint of the iPhone XR, 2018’s longest-lasting
iPhone, it’s the obvious choice for battery life too. Apple says the new phone lasts even longer
than the iPhone XR. Want the official times? The iPhone 11 should last for 17 hours of video, to
the iPhone XS’s 14. It is good for 65 hours of audio, the iPhone XS 60 hours. Apple also usually
publishes stats for internet and call time, but it hasn’t at the time of writing. But there’s no real
contest here, as the iPhone 11 is likely to have great battery life, while most power users find the
iPhone XS’s stamina OK at best. Both phones will also reach 50% charge in 30 minutes, but the
iPhone 11 doesn’t actually come with a charger. That Apple is slightly stingy here should surprise
no-one.
iPhone 11 vs iPhone XS power

Apple makes its own processors. And that means a quick read-out of the CPU names of these two
phones is entirely opaque. The iPhone 11 has an Apple A13 Bionic processor, the iPhone XS an
A12 Bionic. But what’s the difference? Apple is always ready for a bold power claim. But this
year the gains are slightly more conservative than usual. Both CPU and GPU sides of the A13
Bionic are around 20% more powerful than those of the A12 Bionic. This is a very solid boost that
gives weight to Apple’s claims that this is the “fastest CPU in a smartphone” and “fastest GPU in
a smartphone". It’s just not quite as impressive-sounding a figure as the 40 per cent it has been
able to boast about in some previous years. Apple also claims to have improved the processor’s
machine learning abilities, which should help with speeding up camera processing and AR.
