SOGIE BILL should be implemented immediately.

In its latest version, Senate Bill No. 689, entitled “Anti-Discrimination

on the Basis of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression,” has not been
passed in Congress after almost two decades. It seeks to penalize discrimination on the
basis of sexual orientation and gender identity or expression (SOGIE), and is more
commonly known as the anti-discrimination bill or the SOGIE equality bill. The fight for
equality and anti-discrimination for the LGBTQ+ community is one that has known
almost two decades of legal struggle. After trans woman Gretchen Custodio Diez was
barred from using her preferred restroom in a Cubao mall last August 13, one wonders
how gender equality has fared in the country over the years.

I’m not against or pro with this issue I realize that there’s more
important than this issue, we should not raising the issue. I respect LGBTQ+ and I love
them, we’re so focus in this present issue but did we think what would the effects of this
issue to our future or did we think the other issue that can be help to our future and for
you. It can be positive or negative. Positive because finally they get the equality, good
for LGBTQ+, and the issue is finally over. Now a Gay or Trans can go to the bathroom
of women because finally the ‘equality for LGBTQ+’, so the negative is for example what
if there’s a man that pretending to be a gay or trans just to go inside the women
bathrooms just to peep or let’s say rape a women. Sogie bill? the solution to this issue is
a big respect and acceptance for LGBTQ+. Example for those people who hate or who
make fun to them, Can you walk straight in the street or just behave if you see a trans,
Gay or lesbian, without saying this words “BAKLA” “IPAKO SA KRUS ANG BAKLA”
“BASTA TOMBOY NAKA MIO” “MAGANDA SANA KASO MAY LAWIT” “MAGANDA KA
NGA MAY TALONG NAMAN “,if you can’t respect their gender atleast respect them
because they’re still human. If you see a trans in the bathroom and she didn’t do
something offensive then respect her. To those person who hate LGBTQ+ without any
reason or just because they want to make fun to them, you should learn to accept them
and respect them. No hate for LGBTQ+ just love for them.

The Philippine is ready for SEX EDUCATION being available to individuals early years.

The planned integration of an age-appropriate and culture-sensitive sex

education in the basic elementary and high school curriculum will develop responsible
Filipino youth who are aware of risks and issues involving reproductive health,
according to the Department of Education (DepEd).Education Secretary Leonor Briones
said there is a need to introduce a comprehensive sexuality education policy to students
to curb rising incidences of early pregnancy, sexual violence and human-
immunodeficiency virus among young Filipinos.

I’m pro with this issue because it will give a benefits to those children or
teenagers. You see, some of teenagers or children this days is very aggressive and
they’re curious about sex. Because of curiosity, they do things that they shouldn’t do.
And one of the effect is early pregnancy. Other people think when they heard sex
education is teaching someone to sex, to get a better position in sex or “it’s all ‘bout sex
sex sex”. Sex education based on the order, the comprehensive sexuality education will
have seven core topics: human body and human development; personhood, healthy
relationships; sexuality and sexual behaviors; sexual and reproductive health; personal
safety; and gender, culture and human rights. So it gives teenagers awareness, being a
open minded, for self protection, self respect, concern for the others and responsibility.
The solution is we need to let those people (against) understand why we need this. We
can set a seminar to parents or teachers.
Same SEX MARRIAGE is timely and just that it calls for immediate implementation.

In the Philippines, netizens have shown support for same-sex marriage

by adopting a Facebook gimmick to add to their profile photos the rainbow colors that
have symbolized the fight for marriage equality in America. The fight for same-sex
marriage in the Philippines is still very much alive despite the recent Supreme Court
ruling that unanimously dismissed a petition based on technical grounds – lack of a
legal standing and violation of hierarchy of courts. It was Falcis' theory that the
provisions in the Family Code that limit a marriage to a man and woman only, and which
is the basis of the Civil Registrar General in approving marriage licenses to straight
couples only, already harm him as a gay man even though he has not applied for
marriage yet.The petition argued that those provisions in the Family Code violate the
constitutional guarantee of equal protection.

I’m not against to same sex marriage, because if the two person is deeply
in love with each other why do we need to stop them. Then other people will judge call
them a “sinner”, all people are sinners. “A child needs a mother and father, but they’re
both man, how can they give that child a complete family?” the child can accept that if
they let her/his understand, not because they’re both man doesn’t mean they can’t give
a child a complete family. My solution to this issue, they should wait for the right time
until the society accept the same sex marriage, they shouldn’t hurry the process.

Increase of HIV/STD rate in the country.

A UNAIDS Report on the global HIV epidemic states that the number of
new infections in the Philippines has more than doubled in the past six (6) years from an
estimated 4,300 in 2010 to an estimated 10,500 in 2016. The Philippines has become
the country with the fastest growing HIV epidemic in Asia and the Pacific, and has
become one of eight countries that account for more than 85% of new HIV infections in
the region. While the country has the fastest growing epidemic in terms of percentage
increase, the number of new infections in the Philippines is not as high as several
countries in the region which are estimated to have tens of thousands of new infections
annually. For me the solution to this is one we really need sex education because some
of those people who have HIV doesn’t aware that they have HIV, which is those
teenagers. If we have a sex education, the teenagers will have awareness to HIV they
will know how to prevent that, when they know how to prevent that, the HIV can be
prevent to increase or grow more. There’s no cure but we can’t prevent it to grow more.
