Stenter Inspection

Main Body Device


1) Be sure to check on the Door and Manhole .Before Operation make Sure the Doors are closed .

2) Avoid Quick Cooling of Body


After Operation Wait for atleast 15 Minutes before you open the door or Manhole , permitting air exhasut
.(This Prevents the Adhesion of oil or Sublimate of Dyestuff on to the surface )
3) Inspection of the Inside of the Body
At least once a month ,Inspection and cleaning should be Done

Hot Air Device

1) Cleaning of circulation fan


Through cleaning of fan should be Made every 6 months
(Adhesion of Dirt Such as tar lowers the Performance of Fans)
2) Cleaning of Duct and Nozzle
Through Cleaning of Hot Air Duct and Nozzle should be Made every 3 Months .(Accumlation of dirt on the
surface of the air outlet of Nozzle (Slit) Particulary Affects even wind velocity , Drying and Setting .

3) Cleaning of air Filter .


Daily Replacement of air filter is Required .In Addition ,cleaning out of dirt by air filter should be Carried out
.
Chocking of air Filter by dirt such as resin is cleared by tapping the air filter by a wire Brush or by Blowing it
off.
( chocking of air filter results in lowering of the performance of the Fan , as well as in Detoriation and
uneveness of drying and setting.

4) Cleaning of Steam Trap


When Steam is Used ,remove the strainer inside the steam trap on the side of drain and clean it out
everymonth .(Chocking of steam traps results in the drain and may advance to damage the heater )
Check the performance by testing the exhaust drain by tester following Steam Trap .

5) Oil Supply
High Quality closed type Ball Bearings are used for the general type Fan . However Overhauling and
application of grease is required every Year .
In the Belt Driven Fan ,Fan Shaft is supported by Ball Bearing ,So apply Grease every 200 Hrs.
Exhaust Device

1) Cleaning of Exhasut fan


Cleaning out Exhaust fan Every 6 Months is Required .

2) Cleaning of Duct
Exhaust Duct should be Cleaned out Every 3 Months .
3) Inspection of Bearing
High Quality Sealed type Ball Bearing are used for the Motor of Exhaust Fan .However Overhauling and
Application of Grease for Bearing is required Every year.

4) Grease Supply
Exhaust Fan shaft is Supported by Ball Bearings .The Part to be greased every 200 hours .

Cooling Device (cylinder Type )


1) Rust prevention
Since FC and SS Steel which are used for the Shaft and the Side Surface of the Cylinder it can get
Rusted . Rust Prevention measure is taken for the stell by covering the surface with white paint .In
Case White Paint Peels off ,recoating is Recommended.
2) Elongation of the Transmission Parts
Inspection is Required Every 3 months on the Elongation of teh cylinder Driving Belts and roller
Chain .

3) Inspection of Rotary Point


As Sealed type Beairng is adopted for the Unit ,no oil Supply is required .However in Case Water
leak is Noticed ,replacement of the carbon ring is required .
At the same time cleaning of spring is recommended as well as inspection of bearing .
4) Oil Supply
Apply Grease on pillow Block and Flange unit every 1000 Hours .

Inlet Device (Fabric Inlet Section )

1) Inspection for the Conservation of Cloth Guider roll


a) Change the Grease on Bearing inside the roller of cloth guide once every year .
b) Check Every 3 Months whether the rubber Guide Roll of cloth guide has any wear and tear.
c) In Case cloth Guide is Replaced ,Check the Normal Air pressure is (1kg/cm²-1.5kg/cm²)
2) Oil and Grease Application and Replacement .
a) Grease should be Applied for the guide roll metal every 1000 hours .
b) Grease is Applied every 1000 hours for dancing Roll and compensator roll.
c) Grease the Parts or Replace the Grease of Swivel Gear Box .

Outlet Device (Plaiting Down Section )

1) Wear out of Plaiting roll


Check Every 3 Months the degree of wear of the Surface (covered by moquette ) of plaiting Roll
(Green Brush Roll )

2) Elongation of Transmission Parts


Check the Degree of Deflection of V belt roller chain for the drive of every section .
3) Lubrication
a) Grease is Applied every 1000 hours for every fulcrum of the plaiting Mechanism .
b) Grease is Applied every 1000 Hours on the Roller Bearing .

Tentering Device

1) Daily Adjustment by Moving Tentering space is recommended Before Operation .


a) Moving the Working Space of tenter from Minimum to Maximum Range everyday is
Recommended before Operation in order to Check whether Normal Performance is Obtained .
b) Turing tenter chain at Low speed ,widen the Working Space of tenter .
c) Apply Oil to the Driving Shaft to prevent Seizure .
2) Conservation of tenter Rail and chain .
a) Upon the Raise and Fall of Tempreature operate the Stenter chain at Low Speed .
b) Remove and clean the Tenter chain every six months. At the same time cleaning of rail is
required .
c) Apply oil for the tenter chain pin and bush by hand every 24 hours .
d) The Sliding Surface of chain and tenter rail is oil supplied by automatic oil Pump for 5 Minute
every 4 hours of Driving chain .
3) Inspection of the Tension of tenter chain
Check the Tension of tenter chain every month . The Elongation and deflection of the Tenter chain
may result in Trouble and the Breakage of rail and chain .
4) Check of the working condition of Limit Switch :-
Check Every Week whether the working Space of tenter rail covers from the Maximum to
Minimum and normal working of Limit switch for the deflection of automatic fabric feed at the
Inlet is obtained.
5) Conservation of screw shaft
a) The Screw shaft Inside the unit is to be cleaned every week in order to Prevent the Seizure
against the Internal thread of Screw. Also Apply oil or Spray Molybdenum Dioxide on the
Screwshaft .
b) Check the wear and tear of the Internal thread of Screw every Month .
6) Elongation of Transmission parts.
a) Check degree of elongation of transmission chain of Fabric expanding gear box every week.
b) Check the Degree of elongation of Belt and chain of driving section every 3 months.
7) Oil Replacement of speed change and Reduction Gears
a) Replace oil for the Speed change chain gears of the inlet Overfeed device at first 150 hours
later and then every 2000 hours .
b) Replace oil for the HVS speed Reduction gears of the tenter motor Section at first 150 hours
later and then every 2000 hours .
c) Replace oil for the fabric Expanding speed Reduction Geared Motor at first 150 hours and then
every 2000 hours .
8) Lubrication
a) Supply oil for Fabric Expanding bevel gear box and spiral gear box every 500 hours .
b) Apply Grease to metal of every section outside the units every 1000 hours .
c) Supply Heat Proof Grease for Fabric Expanding tension Wheel every 1000 Hours .
9) Wear out the brush Roll
a) Check the degree of wear out of the Pinning Brush Every month .
b) Check the Degree of wear out of the Normal Brush every month .
10) Wear out the rubber roll.
a) Check the Degree of wear out of feed rubber roll every 6 months .
b) Check the degree of wear out of the Pinning Rubber roll every 3 months .
