Truck Pickup and Fueling:

● Trucks are rented at Hengehold Trucks on San Antonio Road.

● Best place to re-fuel after competitions is at the Valero at the corner of San Antonio and
Middlefield Road. Fill so you can see the fuel at the neck of the spout of the tank.

Truck Loadin​g:

Truck 1 primarily takes the marimbas, timphanies, and field props

Truck 2 primarily takes the costume carts, sound cart, synth cart, drums, horns, chairs, tables,
tall drum rack, small drum rack, and bass drum, and major stand. The drum major stand and tall
drum rack are combined to make “the widow-maker.”
● Widow-maker - Drum major stand (DM) is folded and vertical and against the
truck wall. The hand-hold bar is on the floor. The drum rack fits vertically inside
the hand-hold bar and strapped to the truck against the DM. 3 person job. 2 if
you feel lucky :)
