○ Involve in research & development project during his/her 2nd or 3 rd year of
programme, under the guidance of a Professor/ Senior Professor for a
period of five to six months duration, including the summer or winter
vacation periods.
○ Eligibility : CGPA of 8.50
● URE 002
○ Truly exceptional quality & quantum of research work carried out by an
individual student in lieu of his/her Student Project.
○ Substantially higher than what is normally expected from a B.Tech. student
project
○ URE002 carries 4 credits.
○ Eligibility : CGPA of 8.50
Undergraduate Research Experience : (URE) award
● URE 003
○ research work should be carried out for a minimum period of one year with
adequate originality in work.
○ This research oriented project work is expected to result in a high quality
journal publication.
○ Eligibility : CGPA of 9.0
○ URE003 carries six credits
● URE 004
○ To bring out the innovative capability of student
○ It will be of open project concept and can be carried out any time within the
programme period.
○ URE004 carries three credits
