Checkpoint Firewall Basic Configuration

 F/W Basic configuration

From Admin PC – Open browser (IE-V11) and Access G/W with its Management ip
Address i e https://10.1.1.100

Click on Continue option, you will get login option.
Login with Admin account for which password set at installation

At Gaia Web portal Configure Remaining interfaces (i e eht0 – outside & eth2 –
DMZ)

At Gaia Web portal Click on – Network Management – Network Interfaces

Select eth0 – Click Edit ---

On Edit eth0 Dialogbox – Checkmark at Enable – Give comment Its optional–
Configure Manual ip address & subnet mask of outside interface -- OK.

Select eth2 – Click Edit ---

On Edit eth2 Dialogbox – Checkmark at Enable – Give comment Its optional–
Configure Manual ip address & subnet mask of DMZ interface -- OK.

To set Default Gatway – Click on IPV4 static Routes – Select Default Route -- Edit

Click Add Gateway – select IP Address

Configure R1 (Edge Router’s ip ) 192.168.10.1 – Click OK

Click -- Save
