Questionnaire

Objective – To increase the relevancy of application on job with custom screening question form
provided by clients on job posting and to be filled by candidates in order to apply for the job.

Use Cases

Use Case: User clicks on Apply on a job to which no questionnaire is attached and the pre-apply
update flow is not applicable for the candidate

Expected Behavior: Application to the job will get submitted as per the existing logic without any
questionnaire or update flow being shown to the user

Use Case: User clicks on Apply on a job for which no questionnaire is attached but the pre-apply update
flow is applicable for the candidate

Expected Behavior: Application to the job will get submitted in the background, but candidate will not
get redirected to post apply page, and pre-apply popup will be shown on the existing page itself.

Use Case: User clicks on Apply on a job for which questionnaire is attached but pre-apply update flow is
not applicable for the candidate

Expected behavior: Questionnaire will be shown to the candidate as per the following rules:

The questions selected by the recruiter will be shown to the user in an overlay

It will be mandatory for the candidate to answer all the questions in the questionnaire to apply to the
job. If the user does not answer any of the questions or closes the questionnaire instead of submitting
the answers then apply will not get executed, i.e. apply to be submitted only if complete questionnaire
is submitted by the candidate

The answers to the question will be saved in temporary fields.

If the candidate had already answered any of the questions previously in a questionnaire and answers
for the same are present in temporary fields, then the answers to these questions will be prefilled and
shown to the candidate. The candidate can modify the answers before submitting the questionnaire. If
the candidate modifies the answers and submits the questionnaire, the answers will be updated in the
temporary fields.

If any of the questions can be mapped to a profile field and temporary fields do have any answer saved
for the corresponding field, answers to these questions will be pre-filled from profile fields. When the
user submits the answer to these questions, the answers will be saved in only temporary fields but
profile fields will not be updated.

For pre-filling the answer, first priority will be given to temporary field and then to profile field.
Use Case: User clicks on Apply on a job for which questionnaire is attached and pre-apply update flow is
also applicable for the candidate

Expected behavior: Pre-apply update flow will get disabled for this job and the behavior as per the
previous use case (questionnaire attached but pre-apply update flow not applicable) will get triggered
