BISHOP
Dearly Beloved,
I bring you greetings from the King of
Glory, who has watched over us and
given us peace before, during and after
the elections. You are welcome to 2017,
“Our Year of Manifesting His
Glory”, and I seize this opportunity to
remind you of our annual custom of ush-
ering in each year with 21 days of fasting
and prayers.

I trust you have come to the realization

that, it is not a useless venture, in that, a
praying church is a vibrant one, and fast-
ing in addition, enhances progress on all
fronts. I therefore urge you not to ex-
empt yourselves from this exercise, since
it will be beneficial to your spirit, soul

and body. Several testimonies buttress
this fact.
“Then shall thy light break forth
as the morning, and thine health
shall spring forth speedily: and
thy righteousness shall go before
thee: the glory of the Lord shall be
thy rereward” (Isaiah 58:8 KJV).
Jesus came to the earth with the Glory
and Dominion of the Father. Conse-
quently, when the enemy sees the Glory
of God in you, he will have no choice
than to submit to the King of Glory
whose presence you carry.

Remember we were created in the image
of God and can participate in His Divine
Glory as image bearers. Our problem
however is ignorance, which is robbing
us of the privilege to bask in His Glory.
“Let your light so shine before
men, that they may see your good

works, and glorify your Father
who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16
KJV).
I declare that the manifestations and
conditions of God’s glory in relation to
positions, possessions, strength or
length of life be your portion in the name
of Jesus.
I also decree that the Ark of Glory, come
into your life after the order of Obed-
Edom in Jesus’ Name.
God richly bless you and see you at the
top, because that is where you belong.

PREFACE
The most important concept is that of
the Glory of Yahweh. This denotes the
revelation of God’s being, nature and
presence to mankind, sometimes with
physical phenomena.
In the Pentateuch [first five books of the

Bible written by Moses], the glory of
Yahweh went with His people out of
Egypt and was shown in the cloud which
led them through the wilderness.
Ex 16:10 -“And it came to pass, as
Aaron spake unto the whole con-
gregation of the children of Israel,

that they looked toward the wil-
derness and, behold, the glory of
the Lord appeared in the cloud.”
The resurrection and ascension are also
seen as manifestations of the glory of
God in Christ.
Act. 3:13 -“ The God of Abraham,
and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the
God of our fathers, hath glorified
His Son Jesus; whom ye delivered
up, and denied him in the presence
of Pilate, when he was determined
to let him go.”
The glory of God in the Face of Jesus
Christ is still to be seen and reflected by

the church. It is the glory of the new
covenant.
The objective of the church is to see that
the world acknowledges the glory which
is God’s and is shown in His deeds and
above all His Son, the Lord of Glory.

Romans 16:27-“To God only wise,
be glory through Jesus Christ for-
ever. Amen.”
You don’t have to die before your time.
You don’t need to mark time at the same
place in life forever. Life must go on.
You are more precious to God than you
think. For it is said that,”…What is
man that thou art mindful of him?
or the son of man that thou vis-
itest him?... and didst set him over
the works of thy hands…”.
(Hebrews 2: 6-8)
Giving up or committing suicide is not

the answer. You may not see it now be-
cause of what you have been through or
still going through. But I can assure you
that God has a happy ending for you. Of
course, He has a plan for you but He
wants you to look to Jesus, THE AU-
THOR AND THE FINISHER OF
YOUR FAITH.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO LOOK
TO JESUS?
 TO PAY ATTENTION TO HIM
It means nothing should move or dis-
tract you from Him. Paying attention to
Jesus means your mind must be on Him
all the time. No distractions!
 TO CONSIDER GOD’S WORD
In Romans 4: 16-21, we are told that Fa-
ther Abraham had options to consider
when God had told him about the prom-
ise child, Isaac, but did not look to his
seemingly impossible situations of both
his old body and the deadness of Sarah’s

womb. Abraham chose to believe God’s
word and God honoured him and GLO-
RIFIED HIS NAME.
Jesus is the Word of God. “And the
Word was made flesh, and dwelt among
us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory
as of the only begotten of the Father,)

FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH”(John
1:14).
So, as you consider God’s word and look
to Jesus, He will never fail you.
 TO FOLLOW HIS STEPS IN LIFE

“For even hereunto were you called: be-
cause Christ also suffered for us,leaving
us an example, that ye should follow
HIS STEPS” (1 Peter 2:21)
Jesus was humble, obedient, loving,
prayerful, patient, forgiving, never yield-
ing to temptations, to mention a few. As

we follow His steps we shall become like
Him and do the good things He did in-
cluding the mighty miracles to the glory
of God.
 TO EXPECT FROM HIM
You usually wait on whoever you expect
something good from, not just anybody.

You always try to respect, always do
good, have confidence, believe in them
to perform and give you what you want.
This is what waiters at our restaurants
do. And those of them who serve well,
will have good tips, better job opportuni-
ties and have their expectations met. If
you expect something from someone,
you communicate well and often try to
stay close to the person. Stay close to Je-
sus and let Him know that He is all you
have and He is capable of doing what
you expect from Him. I assure you, he
has all it takes to meet you at the point of
all your needs.

He is a doer of good things (Acts. 10:38).
Look to Him and serve Him well. He
will manifest His glory through you.
WHY LOOK UNTO JESUS?
 HE IS OUR HIGH PRIEST( Hebrew
7: 26-27)

He is higher than the heavens, unlike all
other high priests, who offer daily sacri-
fice first for their sins before that of oth-
ers. He was sinless. He offered Himself
once for all sinners, not daily or annu-
ally.
 HE IS OUR ADVOCATE [In case we
sin or get into trouble] (1 John 2:1)
He is our “PARAKLETOS” [Greek]-
Someone called to the side of another, a
helper or a counselor. As the Holy Spirit
is our helper on earth, so is Christ our
helper in the Heavens.
HE IS OUR INTERCESSOR


(Hebrews 7: 25).
He pleads our cause for us before
God. He defends and also commends
us to people for consideration and
favour.
 HE IS OUR PASSOVER LAMB (1
Corinthians 5:7; John 1:29).

By His blood all sins, including yours
and mine can be purged.
 HE IS THE SAME YESTERDAY,
TODAY AND FOREVER (Heb. 13:
8).
JESUS has never changed. His power to
save, heal and deliver from the hands
of Satan is still at work. His love for us
is the same although we disappoint
Him almost everyday. We have to
change positively day by day to be like
Him.
 HE IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH
AND THE LIFE (John 14:6).
He is the only way to God, the only truth

about God and the only life of God.
 WITHOUT HIM WE CAN DO
NOTHING (John 15:5)
He is the true vine (tree) and we are the
branches as believers of Christ. If a

branch has to have leaves, flowers and
finally bear fruit, then it must be at-
tached or connected properly to the
main tree. Stay connected for your sea-
son is about to come, even now.
 HE POSSESSES THE KEY OF
DAVID (Isaiah 22:22; Revelations 3:
7).
This is authority to do all things. He is
the one who opens and no man shuts;
and shuts and no man opens. Look to
Him for all your needs. Human beings
and the devil will fail you.
JESUS IS THE AUTHOR AND


THE FINISHER OF OUR FAITH
(Heb. 12:2)
We have been looking at our faith heroes
from the 11th chapter of Hebrews and are
inspired by them. This one JESUS is the
head of all them. He said,“...Before Abra-
ham was, I AM’ (John 8:58).

In fact, Paul said, He was the rock that
Moses hit with his rod for water (1 Cor.
10:4). He knows all about the pages of
your life. When you pay attention to
Him, consider God’s Word, Follow His
steps and expect from Him only.
 YOUR DESTINY IS ALREADY

FULFILLED!
The Apostle Peter looked to Him for a
short while and was able to walk on wa-
ter for a short while. Look to JESUS for-
ever and overcome this world. It’s time
to manifest His glory He is ever ready for
you.

WEEK ONE
FAITH EMPHASIS
PRAY A LOT AND WITH
INTENSITY
Whenever God gets ready to do a great

work, He always set His people to pray.
We live in extraordinary times, witness-
ing more manifestations of supernatural
power than in all of history.
The essence of spiritual revival is a com-
bination of dynamic ingredients, which
moves the church to return to its roots in

the scriptures, accompanied by a mis-
sionary commitment in obedience to the
Lordship of Christ and under the power
of the Holy Spirit.

ALL ELEMENTS AND FORMS

OF PRAYER-THE ESSENCE
OF PRAYER

Praying is an occupation and a lifelong
business to be followed with diligence.
The Christian’s foremost purpose is
prayer. It is his most engaging, most
heavenly, most lucrative business.
Prayer is a commission of such high dig-
nity and importance that it is to be per-
formed without ceasing.

Romans 12:12–“Rejoicing in hope; pa-
tient in tribulation, continuing instant in
prayer”.
1 Timothy 2: 1-4–“I exhort therefore,
that, first of all, supplications, prayers, in-
tercessions and giving of thanks, be made
for all men; For kings, and for all that are
in authority; that we may lead a quiet and
peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight
of God our Saviour; Who will have all men
to be saved and come unto the knowledge of
the truth.”
He who wants to teach others to receive
answers to prayer must first himself be
devoted to prayer. He who urges prayer

on others must first tread the path of
prayer himself.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Pray everywhere, pray in every
situation and pray without ceas-
ing (Luke 18:1-8; 1 Thess. 5:17).

2. Pray that the Lord will give you the
grace to pray in this season of
prayer and fasting
3. Pray against unforeseen forces
working against your prayer.
Command them to be destroyed
in Jesus’ name (Php. 2:10-11;
Matt. 28:18).
4. Pray for the grace to continue
seeking the face of God until
something happens.
5. Lord Jesus, I need strength not to
be at ease concerning my situa-
tion. Strengthen me to pray

through this season until I break
through (Amos 6:1)
6. Lord Jesus, I seek divine changes
in my life; let this season of
prayer turn things around for my
good (2 Kings 2:1-6).

THROUGH THE PRAYER OF
FAITH.
Matthew 21: 18-22–“…If ye have faith,
and doubt not, ye shall not only do this

which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye
shall say unto this mountain, Be thou re-
moved, and be thou cast into the sea; it
shall be done. And all things, whatsoever
ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall
receive”.

Mark 11: 22-26–“…Have faith in God.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever
shall say unto this mountain, Be thou re-
moved, and be thou cast into the sea; and
shall not doubt in his heart, but shall be-
lieve that those things which he saith shall
come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he
saith…”.
Faith and prayer are bound together.
Faith is the inspiration of prayer, as
prayer is our expression of faith.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Pray for fresh baptism of the Holy
Spirit (Jn. 3:34).

2. Pray and make declarations that
God’s purpose shall be fulfilled in
your life in 2017 (Prov. 3:5-6;
19:21).
3. Pray and believe God that this year
you shall excel in all things to the
glory of God.

4. Pray and invoke the Spirit of Faith
into your life this year.
5. Every devil trying to steal my
Faith, I destroy their works in the
name of Jesus Christ.
6. Pray that the Lord will strengthen
your Faith so that you can please
him. He rewards those who seek
him in Faith.
Heb. 11:6 –“But without faith it is
impossible to please him: for he
that cometh to God must believe
that he is [exists], and that he is a
rewarder of them that diligently
seek him”.
7. Lord, help me to walk by Faith and

not by sight this year.

Luke 22: 31-32–“And the Lord said,
Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired
to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith

fail not: and when thou art converted,
strengthen thy brethren”.
2 Peter 1:10–“Wherefore the rather, breth-
ren, give diligence to make your calling and
election sure: for if ye do these things, ye
shall never fall…”.
Psalm 11:3; 1 Cor. 3:9-11; Heb. 3:4;
Psalm 127:1; Heb.6:1-2; 11:10

Faith is the foundation of Christian char-
acter and security of the soul. When Je-
sus was looking towards Peter’s denial
and cautioning him against it, He said to
His disciple, “Simon, Simon, behold, Sa-
tan hath desired to have you that he may
sift you as wheat; but I have prayed for
thee, that thy faith fail not”.
Our Lord was stating a central truth. It
was Peter’s faith He was seeking to
guard. He knew that when faith breaks
down, the foundations of spiritual life
give way, and the entire structure of reli-
gious experience falls. It was Peter’s
faith that needed guarding; that is why

Christ was concerned about the welfare
of Peter’s soul and was determined to
strengthen Peter’s faith by His own vic-
torious prayer.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Faith is kept alive by prayer. Pray
more in tongues. Pray for more of
God.
2. Obedience helps faith, and faith
helps in obedience. To do God’s
will is essential to true faith and
faith is necessary to absolute obe-
dience.
3. Praying faith keeps the word of
God and does those things that
are pleasing in His sight.
4. Pray against every spirit of unbe-

lief and doubt (Matt. 12:35;
James 1:6-8; Psalm 125:1)

Think about the statement:“…Believe
that ye receive them and ye shall have

them”. Faith is the awareness of God, an
experienced relationship, a real fact.
Prayer throws faith on God and God on
the word. Only God can move mountains
but faith and prayer moves God.

Faith in Christ is the basis of all working
and all praying is done in the name of

1. Pray that God will release the
anointing for exploits in your life.
2. Pray against every spirit of medi-
ocrity and complacency.
3. Pray that God will enlarge your
coast and give you dumbfounding

or net breaking miracles.
4. Declare that the Spirit of God and
the angels of God will usher you
into realms of seeing things from
God’s perspective rather than
men’s perspective.

Jude 3-“Beloved, when I gave all dili-
gence to write unto you of the common

salvation, it was needful for me to write
unto you and exhort you that ye should
earnestly contend for the faith, which
was once delivered unto the saints”.
1 Tim 6:12-“Fight the good fight of
faith…”

For you to stay focused on the promises
of God, you need to fight.
Anytime your mind is on the situations
and circumstances, it means you are not
focusing on the promises of God.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Wage war against spirits of confu-
sion (Rom. 4:19; 1 Cor. 14:10;
Matthew 14:30).
2. Pray and make declarations that
what God has promised shall be
made manifest to you.
3. Fight to protect your territory.

THE LEADERSHIP OF THE

CHURCH
2 Chronicles 20:20-“…Believe in the

Lord your God, so shall ye be estab-
lished; believe his prophets, so shall ye
prosper.”
Zechariah 13:7-“…smite the shepherd,
and the sheep shall be scattered…”

1. Pray for the prophet, the Presiding
Bishop, as he leads and shepherds
us into the ways of God that we
shall also have fulfillment and be
satisfied in God.
2. Pray that this year, the fire of the
spirit of God will be a hedge

Elders, leaders and all and sundry

TAKING TERRITORIES FOR

JESUS-EXPANDING THE
PRIESTHOOD MINISTRY
AND MISSIONARY WORK.
The Bible makes us to understand that
every place that the sole of our foot shall
tread upon, God has given unto us to
possess. Taking territories for Jesus, is
one of the greatest requests Jesus made

before he ascended to heaven. We must
take territories and entrench God’s word
in them.
Rom. 16: 3-5–“Greet Priscilla and
Aquila, my helpers in Christ Jesus….
greet the church that is in their house…”.
1 Chronicles 16:19-20–“When ye
were but few, even a few, and strangers
in it. And when they went from nation
to nation, and from one kingdom to an-
other people”.
Philemon 2–“And to our beloved Ap-
phia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier,
and to the church in thy house”.

Matt 28: 19-20–“Go ye therefore, and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and
of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to ob-
serve all things…”.
PRAYER POINTS

1. Thank God for the grace to take terri-
tories for Jesus.
2. Pray for favour and protection for our
men and women on the mission
fields.
3. Pray for God’s guidance, open doors
and opportunities to reach out to the
lost in the mission field, in the name
of Jesus.
4. Pray for more territories to be taken
for Christ.
5. As we step out to win souls and estab-
lish more Victory Bible Churches, we
pray that those territories are handed

to us to raise the foundations of
many generations.
6. We bind every strongman controlling
any territory we set foot in. We take
over and render them powerless in
the name of Jesus (Matt. 12:29).

themselves and propagate the word

EVANGELISM
2 Corinthians 5: 18-20–“And all
things are of God, who hath reconciled
us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath
given to us the ministry of reconcilia-
tion; To wit, that God was in Christ,
reconciling the world unto himself, not

imputing their trespasses unto them;
and hath committed unto us the word of
reconciliation. Now then we are ambas-
sadors for Christ, as though God did be-
seech you by us: we pray you in Christ's
stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

Luke 19:10–“For the Son of man is
come to seek and to save that which was
lost”.
The purpose of our existence is to recon-
cile the world back to God. Whatever you
dream or determine to become, if at the
end, it will not bring a soul to God, then
it’s a misplaced purpose.
Evangelism is one great command and at
the same time a commission the Lord
gave to us. Live and grow in the compas-
sion of Christ.
PRAYER POINTS

1. Pray for revival in our priest-
hood work and more people to
volunteer as leaders.

and plant more churches.

Enlargement of vision and mentality is a
choice that transcends limitations.

Mark 16:15–“And he said unto them,
Go ye into all the world, and preach the
gospel to every creature”.
Acts 1:8–“But ye shall receive power,
after that the Holy Ghost is come upon
you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me

both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea,
and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost
part of the earth”.
1 Corinthians 16:9–“For a great door
and effectual is opened unto me, and
there are many adversaries”.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Thank God for VBCI worldwide
2. Pray for enlargement and more
Churches around the world.
3. Pray for fruitfulness in all our
churches across the world.

4. We destroy every hold of unproductiv-
ity in VBCI in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. We pray for grace for missionaries
who are carrying the gospel to the world.
6. Thank the Lord for blessing VBCI with
churches all over the world.

TITHING
Non–Tithers become poor because de-
vourers constantly eat their wealth and
the greatest blessing for paying tithes is
that God rebukes the devourers for you.
After the devourer is rebuked, it takes
just a little idea, favour and a step for-

ward to make you prosper. It shall be
well with you!
PRAYER POINTS
1. Thank God for the opportunity to
be blessed through the payment
of Tithe.

2. We come against every lie told to
us by the enemy to hinder us from
tithing in Jesus’ name.
3. Pray for divine understanding of
tithing in Jesus’ name
4. I repent from any form of disobe-
dience against God concerning
the payment of our tithe.
5. Father set us free from any curse
placed on us due to our disobedi-
ence in Jesus name (Malachi 3:9).
6. As we pay our tithes bless and pro-
tect our finances and our house-

hold.
7. Thank the Lord for answered
prayers.

1. Pray for fruitfulness and productivity
in your businesses.
2. When you are without this blessing,
you will not be able to secure jobs that
will earn you good income.
3. Pray for productivity and increase in
your business.
4. Declare, “Henceforth, I will not lack in
Jesus’ name”.
5. Pray for wisdom to make wealth

(Deut. 8:18).
GLORIFY MY BUSINESS

agent of Satan that has swallowed
my blessing with the sword of fire

open the belly of the spiritual

lowed-my riches, my marriage, my
ministry, my virtue, my children.
Vomit them by fire, in Jesus’ name.

and my promotions out of the belly of
the fish, as you did for Jonah in the
name of Jesus.

tion of everything the enemy has
swallowed-my money, my children,

heavenlies, stored in the earth, in the

tanic stronghold or treasury, locate
me directly by fire now in the name
of Jesus!

waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight
the armies of the aliens.”

Everything was possible to the man and
woman who knew how to pray and it is
still possible today. Jesus has redeemed
us. He died in our place. He bought us

with His precious blood, so curses can-
not affect us again.

If only you can pray, the Lord will re-
verse this trend in your life where suc-
cess slips out of your hand with ease;
where failure appears when your success
is approaching in order to drag the name
of God into the mud. Anytime you have a
business deal, everything gets into place,
then just fall apart at the last minute.
Just like Daniel, the Lord is just about to
turn your situation around.

1. Prayerfully commit all your pro-

Prayer is not laggards’ work. The great-
est and the best talent is the talent of
prayer and the best payment of interest
that any man or woman brings back to

Prayers for revoking evil decrees have to

The aggressive attitude of young David
towards Goliath confirms that attack is

the best form of defense.Therefore,
equip yourself with the unfailing amour
of the Lord and launch an attack against
every “Goliath” harassing your life.
God does not expect us to run from our
enemies, He expects us to stand in

prayer and face them, “…and having
done all to stand, stand therefore…”. We
should learn to use the spiritual weapons
that the Lord has provided for us. This is
the only way we can conquer.
This season is designed to storm the
places of safety (strongholds) of the en-
emy.
PRAYER POINTS
1. The spirit of self-destruction will not
prosper in my life in Jesus’ name.
2. Father, let the anointing of the

overcomer fall mightily upon my
life in the name of Jesus.
3. Lord, I close all doors opened to
the enemy against my destiny in

Open heavens will enable us to obtain

the breakthroughs we need for our lives.
When the heavens open, the angels of
God will begin to bring multiple bless-
ings for the sons and daughters of God.
These include favour, power, promotion,
good health, sound mind and peace.

RESTRAIN THE ENEMY

Isaiah 64:4-“For since the beginning of
the world men have not heard, nor per-
ceived by the ear, neither hath the eye

seen, O God beside thee, what he hath
prepared for him that waiteth for him”
The enemy must be withstood in order
to take our rulership position in Christ.
For us to be able to restrain the devil, it
takes earnest waiting upon him in prayer
and supplication.

God has placed Himself under the Law
of prayer, and has obligated Himself to
answer prayer. God has ordained prayer,
and He will do things through people as
they pray that He would not do other-
wise (John 14:13-14).

Isaiah 62: 6-7–“I have set watchmen
upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which
shall never hold their peace day nor
night: ye that make mention of the

Prayer means calling on God for things
we desire, asking God for things, posi-
tioning yourself to manifest His glory.

Death was defeated the day Jesus rose
from the dead. The resurrection morning
marked the defeat of death. As believers,
we are not to fear death.
God has promised that He will satisfy us
with long life:“The number of thy days I
