EXAMPLE:

LINA: Who should I speak to about getting a new PC?

Tim: You can talk to Mr. Tan.

Lina: Where is he?

Tim: He’s in IT.

Lina: What’s he like?

Tim: He’s tall with short black hair.

Lina: No, I mean , is he a nice guy?

Tim: Oh, yeah. He is very helpful.

Lina: OK. I’ll try to find him

TIPS:

 To ask about someone’s physical appearance, we say “What does he/she look like?” To ask
about someone’s personally, we say, “What’s he/she like?”
 Give clear descriptions with several pieces of information:
- location of desk
- physical appearance
- clothing
- personality
