IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. All rates quoted are inclusive of Community Levy and Emergency Rescue Levy.
Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife is a non vat vendor. Tariffs are valid from 1 November 2018
to 31 October 2019 and are subject to alteration without prior notice.

2. High season dates are applicable from:

12.12.2018 to 08.01.2019 14.06.2019 to 15.07.2019
20.03.2019 to 08.04.2019 08.08.2019 to 11.08.2019
19.04.2019 to 22.04.2019 20.09.2019 to 06.10.2019

High season rates are also applicable over any events.

3. A maximum of two children (aged between 3 - 12 years) may stay free per unit/
campsite, during the s tandard season once the base rate is met, thereafter the
additional supplement rate will be charged.

4. Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park : Conservation Fee: Overnight Visitors: A daily Conservation

Levy of R220 per adult and R110 per child under 12 years will be charged. South
African and Southern African Development Countries (SADC) residents who provide
proof of identity may apply for a discount on this fee, (R110 per person per day). Day
Visitors: Pay the Conservation Fee for Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park.

5. The SA Conservation Fee at Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park is not applicable to tour

operators and travel agents.

6. Other Parks:
Overnight Visitors: are not required to pay the Conservation Fee except for Hluhluwe-
iMfolozi Park and parks that fall under the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Day Visitors:
Are required to pay a Conservation Fee, see individual camps for fees.

7. South African residents 60 years and over and bona-fide students are granted a
discount of 20% on accommodation tariffs during low s eason. These discounts
exclude high season, events, wilderness trails, overnight hiking, bush camps and
bush lodges. SA residents qualify for the above discount on presentation of
identification and proof of age for pensioners, or a valid student card for students,
failing which full rates will be charged.

8. Refunds on or after the arrival date will be processed by the relevant Regional Office
on recommendation from the camp. Refund of bookings prior to arrival date will be
charged a cancellation fee as follows:
• Cancellations > than 45 days prior to arrival =10% of gross amount (Min. R100)
• Cancellation within 44 to 30 days of arrival = 25% of the gross amount
• Cancellation within 29 to 15 days of arrival = 50% of the gross amount
• Cancellation within 14 days & arrival date = 100% of the gross amount
9. Minimum age for children on wilderness trails is 16 y ears if unaccompanied by a TAKE ADVANTAGE OF
parent or legal guardian and 14 years if accompanied.
