    Calibrating the Ribbon Sensor on a ZXP Series 1 & 3

    Printer

    1. Go to Start Menu> Printers and Faxes (Windows XP) or Devices and Printers
    (Windows 7). Right click on your Zebra printer and go to Properties (Windows XP) or
    Printer Properties (Windows 7)
    2. If you get an error about "Printer is Offline," there is no communication with the PC.
    Make sure the USB/Ethernet cable is connected. Restart PC if necessary.
    3. Go to Device Settings
    a. Under Ribbon Type, you should see your ribbon combination (i.e. YMCKO)

    4. Go to Tools
    5. Under "Command to send to printer" type "!SA" and then click Execute. The printer will
    run the calibration process on its own. Under Printer Status, make sure "ACK" is
    displayed to verify the command was accepted.

    6. This completes the calibration process.
