complementary angles, supplementary angles, opposite angles.
Instructional Materials & Media [ASSURE (Select Strategies, Technology, Media and Materials)]
 Teacher will use Pictochart for summarize the unit.
 Teacher will use Google Forms for assessment
Learning-Teaching Methods [ASSURE (Select Strategies, Technology, Media and Materials)]
 The teacher will use the GeoGebra app in the lesson.
 The teacher will prepare the game cards for cooperative learning.

Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials and Require Learner Participation)]
1. In the beginning of the lesson, with activity of pipettes teacher want to show different angels.
2. With using GeoGebra teacher visualize this activity dynamicaly.
3. Teacher give some examples from real life.
4. Teacher prepare one game to maket the lesson fun and be students information permanant.
5. Teacher give infographics for summary the lesson.

Summary
 Two angles whose sum is 90° (that is, one right angle) are called complementary angles and one is called
the complement of the other.
 Two angles whose sum is 180° (that is, one straight angle) are called supplementary angles and one is
called the supplement of the other.
 Two non – overlapping angles are said to be adjacent angles if they have:
(a) a common vertex
(b) a common arm
(c) other two arms lying on opposite side of this common arm, so that their interiors do not overlap.
 Opposite angles, angles that are opposite each other when two lines cross, are also known as vertical
angles because the two angles share the same corner.
Measurement & Evaluation

Explanation

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
• In the beginning of lesson, teacher will ask students where they can see angles and for doing that teacher
activate student’s previous knowledge. Then teacher want students be pair with friends sitting behind. Then
teacher give cards and pipette which were made before the class and want students read the instruction. The cards
have different instructions for each group and students were asked to create different shapes using pipettes.

• The teacher will want the groups which made the same instructions to come together and compare what
they have done. Then he opens the GeoGebra file he/she prepared and plays the points and asks what they see.
• By moving the dots, it allows students to recognize the angles that are identical to each other and
complement each other to 180 degrees.

• After that, teacher will give the example of seesaw to students. She/he will ask them where the seesaw
should stand in order to stand at an equal height with their friends. Then give the definition of supplementary
angle.

• Then she/he will show them a sample of scissors and give the information about adjacent and opposite
angles and their properties.
• Then, teacher will show the columns of the class and asks what this angle might be, and all make them
realize the angle.
• After that, teacher will distribute the game cards which have some angles. The student with the initiator
on the card starts the game. Each of the cards has different angles. The students say the angles written on these
cards and the other desired angle. For example, a student says I'm 45 degrees and I'm looking for my adjacent
angles.

Back-up Plan: If there is a problem with the ınternet connection, teacher should draw by using blackboard to show
GeoGebra file.
