EDUCATION
Bachelor of Technology(B-Tech)-Mechanical Engineering Major July 2015-July 2019
Department of Mechanical Engineering – Koneru Laxshmaiah Education Foundation (Deemed to be University)
 Thesis dissertation over the final year project “Design and Development of Harvesting Robot for Agriculture
Purpose” under guidance of Dr. G Yedukondalu (Associate Professor)
 Procedure: Comparative test of IC engine with gasoline and ethanol was done along with performance analysis
and the incorporation of necessary modification in engine (carburetor modification and raise in engine
compression ratio).
Analysis: Brake thermal efficiency as well as output brake power of engine was studied and attempt was made to
minimize the loss in case of ethanol by suitable modification
Outcome: The loss in brake thermal efficiency of engine with ethanol, compared to that with gasoline was
brought down significantly after modification

 Evaluation of Convective Heat Transfer Coefficient of Air Flowing Through an Inclined Circular Duct
Procedure: Convective heat transfer of air was calculated by varying the angular position of circular pipe
Analysis: All the parameter like velocity, nusselts number, prandtls number and finally heat coefficient were
calculated and the impact of inclination on these parameter was studied.
Outcome: It was found that heat transfer coefficient is linearly dependent on velocity, which is influenced by
inclination of the duct.

 Evaluation of Mechanical Properties of Aluminium 6061 T6 based Metal Matrix Composite

Procedure: Different test specimen of MMC was prepared by varying the composition of aluminium, magnesium,
graphite, and fly ash by stir casting method. Properties such as tensile strength, Yield Strength, proof Stress,
Hardness, wear rate and impact strength were calculated.
Analysis: The variation in the mechanical properties due to change in composition was plotted and causes
analyzed.
Outcome: It was found that stiffness of the material seems to increase for every 3% addition of fly ash and 3%
addition of graphite, decrease in proof stress indicates that plastic deformation can be done easily.
