WHAT YOU NEED:

• Blue yarn, beige yarn, white yarn, red yarn, black yarn
• White felt, black felt, yellow felt
• Hook (I used a 3.5mm hook with Caron Simply Soft Yarn)
• Fiberfill
• Fabric glue
• White fabric painting (optional)
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker (optional)

This pattern works in continuous rounds.

Fasten off. Now you’re going to make the
blue part of the ear.

LARGE SPIKES (MAKE SIX)

Rnd 1: Take your blue yarn and sc on two
sides of the ear, then ch 1, turn [11]
Rnd 2: FLO 5 sc, inc, 5 sc [12]
Rnd 3-4: 12 sc [12]
Rnd 5: 2hdc, 3sc, dec, 3sc, 2hdc [11]
Slst, leave a tail for closing the back of the
ear and sewing it.

the nose, fix the white part of the eyes with

fabric glue and add small pieces of black
felt to complete the eyes. I used white
fabric paint on the eyes but you can also
use a small piece of white felt. Sew the
chain you just made around the eyes.

Sew the ears on the head and sew the

spikes on the back of the head.
Tip: I like to fold the spikes to get the exact
shape I want.
Now that the head is complete, you can
sew it on the body.

Slst in next st and stuff. Leave a tail for In blue yarn

sewing.

You are going to assemble the head now.

Start by cutting a piece of white felt the
shape of the eyes. With blue yarn, make a Rnd 3: (sc, inc) 2x [6]
chain long enough to go around the eyes Rnd 4: 6 sc [6]
(see the picture). With black yarn,

embroider a small mouth. Sew the mouth,

Rnd 1: take your red yarn again and Rnd 3: 18 dc [18]

crochet 15 sc around the hole left on the
foot [15]
Change for blue yarn. Stuff the foot with
fiberfill and continue stuffing as you go.
Rnd 2: (sc, dec) 5x [10]
Rnd 3-17: 10 sc [10]
Slst in next st. Finish stuffing and leave a tail
for sewing.
Slst, leaving a tail for sewing. Sew the socks
around the feet. They should fit loosely.
WHITE STRIPES (MAKE TWO)
In white yarn, ch 16
Rnd 1: start in 3rd chain from hook, 14 dc
[14]
Slst, leave a tail for sewing. Sew on the feet.
Using yellow felt, cut out small buckles to
glue on the feet.

SOCKS (MAKE 2)

In white yarn, ch 20
Rnd 1: start in 3rd chain from hook, 18 dc,
ch 2, turn [18]
Rnd 2: 18 dc, ch 2, turn [18]

ARMS (MAKE TWO) Rnd 1: start in 2nd chain from hook, 6 sc on

both sides of the chain [12]
Start in white yarn. The hands are made in
Rnd 2: 12 sc [12]
two parts, then joined together.
Rnd 3: (2sc, inc) 4x [16]
THUMB:
Rnd 4-6: 16 sc [16]
Rnd 1: 4 sc in magic ring [4]
Rnd 7: You are going to join this part with
Rnd 2: (sc, inc) 2x [6] the thumb. Continue working 4 sc around
Rnd 3-5: 6 sc [6] the thumb, skip 2 st on both thumb and the
larger part, 14 sc around the larger part
Slst in next st and leave a small tail.

Using the yarn tail left from the thumb,
close the small hole. Start stuffing and
continue as you go.

Change for beige yarn

CUFFS (MAKE TWO)

In white yarn, ch 18
Rnd 1: start in 3rd chain from hook, 16 dc,
ch 1, turn [16]
Rnd 2: 16 dc, ch 1, turn [16]
Rnd 3: 16 dc [16]
Slst and leave a tail for sewing. Sew on the
arms. They should fit loosely.
LARGER PART: Sew the legs and the arms on the body,
then the spikes on the back.
