Mongoose installation

Pre-Requisites :

Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows Server 2016.

With latest Windows updates.

Roles installed:
Web Server (IIS)
Application Server and all role services .

These Features installed:

.NET Framework 3.5
.NET Framework 4.5 (in Windows Server 2012 R2) or 4.6 (in Windows 2016)
Message Queuing
Windows Identity Foundation
Install the .NET 4.7.2 standard library.

latest version of a supported Internet browser.

Internet Explorer 10 and 11
Firefox
Google Chrome

Installed and configure SQL Server 2016 or SQL Server 2017.

SQL server Database Admin -- login credentials Required.

Download Mongoose ISO from

Infor_Mongoose_2019505.ISO (1.35 GB)

1. Extract & Run Installation setup.exe

- Installation wizard will start, enter required detials. Refer the installation document to keep the
options in wizard as default.
- Select Express installation.
- Finish the installation.

2. Open Infor Mongoose Configuration Manager

- In Express configuaration page UNCHECK " CreateNew Database"

- Enter SQLserver details (like servername\instance name )
- Use SQL server Authentication instead Windows Authentication .
- Enable MG SA user & give password for it
- Check mark "Use SSL/HTTPS" & Create Config
- Uncheck "All-in-one DB" & "Forms Control"

3. Check mark "Advance Configuration".

- Check Mark all copmponents like database, & Uncheck all Optional components
 - Select Database & Uncheck "All-in-One Database"
- Give SQL SERVER Name and SQL SA login id & Credentials
- Refere document for other Application & IDO default values to be selected.

Save Log & Commit changes.

4. Open Configuration Manager (Tool for Mongoos)

- Open Application Tab

- Create Application (Like Mongoose_DEV) using NEW Button

- Open Tab Web Server

- Create Webserver Defination by giving computer name (which is in IIS) in URL

- Open Tab Configuration

- Click New - give some name.
- Open Tab Runtime (Client) & give user details of SQL server & select Database Name : _App
- In Application select the Applicatio id created configuration manager
- In Runtime Forms Database Give same SQL serve user details & select Database Names:
_Forms
- Clcik Ok to SAVE configuration.

- SAVE configuration

Open Infor Mongoose.

Select Configuration from pull down & Login with Mongoose SA user credentials.

You can create users using winstudio.
