PREFACE
Thanks to Allah SWT. Who has given his grace and
guidance so that writer can finish Reports Industrial Employment
Practices (PRAKERIN) organized by SMK DWIJA PRAJA for
approximately three months at SMK DWIJA PRAJA.

This report is a manifestation of the responsibility of the


writer in writing of the completion of the students' work practice in
BENGKEL MAS IWAN start date of January 19, 2018 until March
28, 2018 in the framework of the dual system of education.

In completing this report, the writer have received help and


guidance from the various parties. Without the help and guidance of
various parties, perhaps the writer will get difficulties in the
preparation of this report. The writer would like to say thanks

The writer also realized that in writing this paper is still far
from perfection. Therefore, criticism and suggestions from readers

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background

Employment Practices Industry ( Prakerin ) is a process of learning by deploying


students on an agency company , as one form of education and training activities for
students that combine education in schools with education in the Industry which is
obtained by performing work practices directly and directionally to add specific expertise .

In accordance with the results of the observation and study of the


Directorate of Education and Vocational holding pattern in SMK not explicitly able to
produce graduates as expected . It can be seen from the learning conditions are not
conducive to generating a professional workforce . Because , professional expertise a
person is not measured by the acquisition of knowledge and the technique works , but it
must be equipped with a real mastery of the way to work .

There are two parties, ie educational institutions and employment are jointly
implementing a program of vocational skills . Thus , both parties should be involved and
responsible for the program from the planning stage , the stage of implementation ,
through assessment and determination of students' graduation .

1.2 The Purpose Of Prakerin Implementation

Industrial Work Practices ( Prakerin ) is a system of learning is done outside of


Teaching Learning and carried out at the company / industry or agencies that have been
determined . In general , the implementation of the Industrial Work Practices program
aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of students according to their field , settling
down to real work situations , and so forth .

Implementation of Industrial Work Practices ( Prakerin ) at SMK aims to :


1. Produce a quality workforce , the workforce has a level of knowledge and skills in
accordance with the demands of the working world .

2. Strengthening the compatibility between vocational schools and the world of work .

3. Improve process efficiency and effectiveness of education and training .

4. Provide recognition of work experience as part of the educational process .

1.3 The Purpose Of Making a Prakerin Report

a. General purpose :

1. In order for pupils to develop the theoretical foundations derived from related school
prakerin results .

2. Train and remind the student's skills in making paper .

3. The students were able to look for alternative solutions in accordance with the vocational
courses that have more broadly and deeply revealed that the formulation of the paper .

4. Collect data for school needs and interests of the students themselves.

b . Special purpose :

1. To qualify for final settlement and accounting competency test .

2. As one proof that the student has done Employment Practices Industry ( Prakerin )
well .

During the practical activities of industrial work in PT. Regional Development Bank

3.1 Conclusions

During the industrial working practices ( PRAKERIN ) in PT. Regional


Development Bank Jambi Branch Muara Bulian writers get a lot of valuable knowledge
and experience . Through education system Ganda ( PSG ) performed in schools and
institutions can practice a more open mind towards things - new things and information -
information that is more extensive .

The purpose of work practice itself is to create students who have tiggi work ethic , has a
high skill and considerable ability to work directly in the community .

Education system Ganda ( PSG ) will run bail if all the elements - elements that
became the backbone of complementarity such as teachers , students , and employees. PSG
is important considering the needs of the workforce will be a highly skilled workforce and a
professional is needed . And the author believes education in Batang district will be more
advanced if the program is really - really executed well .

3.2 suggestion

1. For school
- expected in schools can improve the material and guidance that students are better
prepared to carry out the work practices .

- The school should put the students practice on workplace in accordance with department
/ expertise

- Expected supervising more attention to discipline children who carry out work practices
guidance .

- Supervising expected more often give directives to further enhance students' skills .

2. For students who will practice

- debriefing given by the school to be followed properly and orderly .

- Use abilities and appearance as possible .

- Keep your good name and secret agencies working practice protocols
implementation .
