Learning Outcomes [ASSURE (State Objectives)]
At the end of the lesson, the 8th grade students will draw the median, angle bisector and height of given triangles whose
median, angle bisector and height is unknown, 100% accuracy.
Instructional Materials & Media [ASSURE (Select Strategies, Technology, Media and Materials)]
Kahoot, GeoGebra, isometric paper, paper and colorful pens
Learning-Teaching Methods [ASSURE (Select Strategies, Technology, Media and Materials)]
Cooperative Learning Groups (Jigsaw Method)

Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials and Require Learner Participation)]
The students are expected to find median, angle bisector and height of the triangles which is given on graph paper by folding
the paper.
Individual Learning Activities Pen and paper based learning.

Group Learning Activities -

Summary
1. Median: A median of a triangle is a line segment from a vertex of the triangle to the midpoint of the side opposite
that vertex.
2. Bisector: The division of something into two equal or congruent parts, usually by a line, which is then called a
bisector.
3. Height: Height of a triangle is the perpendicular drawn from the vertex of the triangle to the opposite side.
Measurement & Evaluation
At the end of the lesson multiple-choice test method will be used.

Explanation
The exit cards will be taken from students to examine at the end of the lesson if the learning outcome is achieved.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
At the beginning of the lesson, the class will be separated by two equal groups as home and expert. There will be three
expert groups called, height, median and angle bisector. In expert groups, students learn information about the given
content from their textbooks. After that sharing time, they will return their home group to share their knowledge about the
content. As a result, every student will learn from each other.
To sum up the course, the students will share their learnings different contents; for example, the student who learn angle
bisectors in expert group will share her/his knowledge about median or height.
If any obstacles occur during using Kahoot in class, the teacher will make formative quiz instead of Kahoot.
