SITE CONTEXT
Bookstore will have visitors of all type so the li-
brary section will have noise along with a monot-
onous look. In order to solve these two problem
together with the help of surface generartion , the
inner wall has been chosen.
Library wall has been chosen which is at the east
side of the store which has the maximum amount of
light entering into it but it needs acoustics panels.
Ambience of the store : The colour on the walls is
white so the colours will play an important role in
creating an interactive surface for the users.
The furniture kept over there is very simple but with
a introduction of the bean bags to just sit and
relax reading or simply seat to introspect and
play with the thoughts.
The door of the library is already of glass so this
is one of the prevention from the outside noise.

Properties of wood wool cement board :

Wood Wool Cement Board (WWCB) is a versatile building material made from wood wool and ce-
ment where each fiber is coated with a thin film of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) that, when cured,
partly petrifies the wood. In that way the fiber will last indefinitely as long as the cement film is not
damaged.

• Fire resistance • Light weight to handle

• Wet and dry rot resistance • Easy to process in construction
• Termite and vermin resistance • Relative low energy consumption to produce
• Thermal insulation • Limited impact on local natural resources
• Acoustic performance – sound absorption • No waste product at end-of-life cycle;
• Excellent heat buffering capacity
