i8-V Venturi Scrubber

Inciner8 has developed an efficient scrubbing system as part of our

ongoing pollution R&D. Our scrubber is designed to achieve high
levels of pollution control using very limited resources, and as
such, can operate even on the mobile units.

As the gas stream is introduced into the scrubber box, it is forced to

pass through a converging section, where (in accordance with
Bernoulli equation) gas stream velocity is rapidly increased.

The throat section between pipes is where particle and gas removal
occur as the inlet gas stream mixes with the fog of tiny liquid droplets.
The diverging section forces the gas stream to cool down.

The Scrubbing liquid (water) is introduced into the system

using a high pressure pump (70+ bar) with a set of 8 very
fine nozzles. Energy of the gas stream is used to additionally
atomize water droplets.

Part of the scrubber liquid that doesn’t evaporate in the

process is released from the system using a specially
designed valve on the bottom of the scrubber box
The Inciner8 venturi scrubber uses minimal quantities of scrubbing liquid
(1 litre / minute). Water or different liquid solutions can be used as a
scrubbing media to remove various particles, dust and neutralise acidic
gases from your fumes. (e.g. an alkaine solution will neutralize acid gas, etc.)
