RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this position; however, this is not an
all-inclusive listing. Other duties may be assigned.

• Good Communication/presentation skills to present solutions to the Business Users. Must

be good in understanding the business specific requirements and capable of proposing
efficient solutions.
• Good to have Functional Knowledge/ Hands-on experience on any of the SAP Module
such Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing &Sales, Material Management etc.
• Must be able to guide peers and help them in functional and technical aspects of BW
modelling & best practices of modelling.
• Proficient in BW on HANA modelling components such as Composite providers, open
ODS and ADSO etc. Aware of business scenarios where BW HANA objects can be utilized.
Must be aware of the reporting restrictions of field-based modelling and knowledge of
Planning sequences and providers for cross application modelling such as Virtual
providers. Knowledge of LSA++ Architecture.
• Experience on end-to-end BW implementation projects in BW through design, develop
and deploy phases and handle go live and post go live issues. Capable of handling
transports through the landscapes.
• Hands on Experience on ABAP and capable of writing routines (start, expert, end) in
transformations, customer exit codes, BADI and Function modules. Must be able to deep
dive and debug the existing logic and aware of Object-oriented concepts.
• Must be experienced in developing Bex queries using Bex Designer and Analyzer with
performance tuning of reports. Knowledge of AFO queries and workbooks is plus.
• Must be aware of different types of data extraction procedures from SAP to BW generic,
standard extractors [ LO, COPA etc ]and data source enhancements with function
modules.
• Knowledge/ work experience on BW work spaces, Planning capabilities of ADSo’s and
FOX function. PAC in BW is Plus
• Work experience on Migrated data models/codes and Development experience on BW
on HANA 7.5 environment is plus.
