Context
When configuring MAPS logical groups performing the MAPS command logicalgroup --show
ALL_TARGET_PORTS/ALL_HOST_PORTS MAPS will only display physical devices in the output.
Example:
Only the 4 FC targets on blade 9 are registering device type and are being seen within MAPS

Answer
In FOS 7.2.x and 7.3.0 releases, the MAPS logicalgroup –show command will only poll the name server for
physical devices. This means that logical devices, such as FCOE hosts/target, will not be able to be discovered in
a MAPS logicalgroup command outputs.
Internal Comments
Engineering is currently investigating enhancements to the MAPS utility to allow logical devices to be discovered
the same way physical devices are in the logicalgroup command outputs. These enhancements, if they are
possible, will be in a future release. Setting review period 1 year out and at that time this doc will most likely need
to be updated with the version that supports the logical device discovery in the logicalgroup command outputs.
