This study will aim to determine the perception on employment readiness among

the Grade 12 TVL NC II holders of Claver National High School.

Specially, it will seek to answer the following question:

1. Does the competence skills level of NC II holder help them to employ easily?

2. Does the NC II holders are ready for employment?

3. What is the importance of having an NC II?

Hypothesis
H1. Perception of Grade 12 TVL students National Certificate (NC) II holders in

Claver National High School is ready for employment.

Significance of the Study

This section provides the importance and possible effect of the research to the

following:

Students. This study will serve as a guide for the student to understand the

importance of having a NC II and for them to make a valuable decision.

NC II Holders. This study will provides insight into the areas that they do not feel

competent to face the job market. And serve as their guide to take easily a good job that

suit to their course.

Teachers. This study will show the importance of teacher learning for students'

achievement especially the TVL Teachers to engage in modern society demands high

quality teaching and learning from teachers.

Parents. This study will help the parents to know the advantages for their children

acquiring the NC II.

Employers. This study will help the employer in setting their hiring requirements

and have preferences on NC II holders competencies which suit for their job vacancies.

Future Researchers. The proposed study will serve as a guide for future

researchers to help them in expanding the course of knowledge about this particular topic.

Scope and Limitation

The scope of this study is to determine the perception on employment readiness

among the Grade 12 TVL students NC II holders in Claver National High School.

The study will be limited only to those students in TVL track who have their NC II

or an NC II holder will be considered as the respondents.

Definition of Terms

For the purpose of clarify and understanding the study, the following terms were

defined operationally.

Employment. This refers to the term use to agreement between an employer and

employee that the employee will provide services on the job. An activity in which one

engages or is employed.
