Effluent Sampling
Filinvest Technology Park – Calamba City, Laguna

I. Background

Filinvest Technology Park – Calamba (FTPC) is 77.6 hectares Industrial Estate with Mixed-
Use Components, a home to five (5) subdivisions and to twenty four (24) light to medium non-
polluting industrial locators.

It is a project under the Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) that serves industries and other locators with
complete utilities and facilities are provided upon start of operation with centralized wastewater
treatment plant to cater both process water and domestic sewage.

.II. Objective

The park is managed and developed by FLI while the Countrywide Water Services Inc. is
charge of operations and maintenance of the water and wastewater treatment facilities. In line
with other activities, a quarterly effluent sampling is required as per compliance monitoring and
reporting.

III. Scope of Works

1. Collection and handling of effluent sample inside the wastewater treatment facility
premise as per given schedule (11:00 AM / 4:30 PM). The samples shall be picked up at
the FTPC Wastewater Treatment Plant, Blk 5 Punta Alteza Subdivision, Brgy. Punta,
Calamba City, Laguna either the hours of 11:00 AM or 4:30 PM Monday – Friday during
the 1st week of the month.
2. Coordinate with the CWSI personnel or the facility operator for the schedule of the
activity.
3. Conduct the Water Quality Test or Water Analyses shall be done with duly by a DENR
Accredited Testing Laboratory to verify compliance to DAO 2016-08. Parameters under
the DAO 2016-08 General Effluent Standards for PSIC Code 37000.
4. Preparation and submission of Billing Invoice and Results of Laboratory Analysis
(ROLA) after each sampling event to the CWSI personnel/office.
