Teacher Directions:

Choose the plot diagram that is right for your lesson. There are three designs
included. Each one has a labeled version and a blank version for differentiation.

Print out enough copies for your students. Project one on the white-board when
you ask them to work on it. Students take events from the story and put them in
the proper position on the plot diagram.

I like to give my students several events from the story we are reading and have
them decide in groups under which label each belongs.

This can also be projected on the screen as a reference guide while students
create their own plot diagrams on large construction paper.
