“Seek to do the first principle and you will never fail”

Matthew 6:33 NIV

[33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be
given to you as well.

Topic 1: THE LAW OF FIRST PRINCIPLE

Introduction

- Have. You ever heard the Law of First Principle? Or how about First Principle
Thinking?
- When I understand this first principle thinking, it helps me a lot to make wise
decision and really plan everything using this principle.
- First this is not about number order of principle, na first, second or third principle,
but “First Principle” thinking. As in you really look for the very first principle of an
idea, a method, a concept, or how things works.
- So maybe lets look first on the definition of first principle.

A first principle is a basic assumption that cannot be deduced any further. Over
two thousand years ago, Aristotle defined a first principle as “the first basis from
which a thing is known.”.

In theory, first principles thinking requires you to dig deeper and deeper until
you are left with only the foundational truths of a situation.

- To understand this, let us look on the invention of airplane. 1485 the time
Leonardo Da Vince designed his human powered airplane was introduced it never
become a reality until On December 17, 1903, Wilbur and Orville Wright made
four brief flights at Kitty Hawk with their first powered aircraft. The Wright
brothers had invented the first successful airplane.
- That is more than 400 years. It becomes a reality when they discovered the first
principle of flight. What is that principle? According to a principle of
aerodynamics called Bernoulli's law, fast-moving air is at lower pressure than
slow-moving air, so the pressure above the wing is lower than the pressure below,
and this creates the lift that powers the plane upward.
- When they discovered the first principle of flight or aerodynamics, there had been
a lot of breakthrough in the area of air flight.

- Let us take for example, tumigil ang electric fan mo, os your first question
is...Bakit kaya? brown out ba? Sira na kaya? ano ang sira? Baka me naputol na
wire kaya tumigil? Check mo lahat ayaos naman. So your question again is bakit
kaya? Baka sira na ang motor? Kaya lang wala kang kilalang mapagawan ng
electric fan and sinubukan mong gawin ito. Ang first question na kailangan mong
sagutin ay, paano ba nag wowork ang electric fan?
- Imagine kung hindi mo na iintindihan yong pina ka first principle ng Motor, hindi
mo irn malalaman paano siya aayusin. The first principle how electric fan works
because of Magnetic action na nangyayari sa loob ng motor nito. the next is ano
ang nag papamagnetized nito? Third is papano dadaloy ang electricity sa motor
para tumakbo ito. Etc. etc.

- When you discover and learn the first principle thinking or the law of First
principle, you will be surprise of what it can do to your life and to others.
- Marami kang masosolve na problema hindi lang sa mga material and physical na
aspeto kundi sa finances, family, career, and life.

- So the key to have this kind of thinking is...

Always seek the fundamental truth of everything

that would lead you to the very first principle of how things works!

- Think about it, what if lahat ng gagawin mo ay yong pinaka first principle,
mostlikely lahat ng gagawin mo mag susuceed ka.
- So the next question is...

Of all truths in life and in this world,

what is the very fundamental truth of everything?

- Do you really want to know the very foundation of first principle thinking?
- Do you really want to have the answer to all of your problems?
- Do you really want to succeed sa buhay mo? Sa career mo? Sa business mo? Sa
finances mo?
- Then you need to start, really know and live by the very first fundamental truth
of everything and that is...

Genesis 1:1 NIV

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

- Now imagine this verse and this truth, everything we see and we know today was
created by God!
- Because the beginning of everything is God!
- That means every fundamental truth in every aspect of our life and of all creation
is the God of truth.
- The First of everything is God!
- Kaya pala sinabi ni Jesus...

Matthew 6:33 NIV

[33] But seek first his (God) kingdom and his righteousness, and all these
things will be given to you as well.
- Kaya pala napakapowerful nitong verse na ito.
- Kaya pala sinabi ni Jesus do not worry about anything, kasi if you do the see the
first whcih is God, then lahat ng needs mo God will provide.
- Isipin mo lang if wala ka talagang worry, hind ka na mag aalala or matatakot sa
mga bagay na mangyayari, di ba napakalaking ginhawa non sa buhay?
- Ano daw ang dapat mong gawin? See first!

- Now look at this powerful verse...

Psalm 111:10 NIV

[10] The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his
precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

- Sino nag ulit dito ang gustong tumalino? Yong halos lahat ng gagawin niya mag
susucceed?
- Sino rito ang gusto na bawat problema na haharapin niya ay masosolve niya dahil
sa wisdom na meron siya?
- Sino rito ang gustong mag karoon ng mga idea para magkaroon siyang business
or masolve niya mga challenges niya sa buhay, sa office and sa family?
- What you really need is Wisdom!
- Pero paano ka nga magkakawisdom?
- Take note of this. Sa lahat ng wisdom meron din pinaka simula, the fundamental
truth of all wisdom.
- Kaya pala sinabi dyan "The beginning of wisdom”, so ano ba ang beginning ng
lahat ng wisdom? The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom

- Take note of the logic, Who is the beginning of everything? God, who created and
establish everything? God, everything means visible or not visible was created by
God, and the beginning of everything is God!
- So if you will not consider God in everything you do, you are actually violating the
first principle thinking!
- How much more pa kung di mo lang siya binabalewala but also sinusuway mo
siya sa mga utos niya?

- Now the next question is how to have this “First principle thinking” how to apply
the law of first principle” in my life?

1. Make God the first in everything in your life

- If God is the beginning of all things, then it is wise then you begin everything for
him and in him!
- Kaya madalas tayo magka mali kasi huli natin siyang tanungin sa mga decision na
ginagawa natin.
- Kaya rin laging magulo ang buong araw natin kasi nakakalimutan natin na yong
unang oras ng araw mo dapat para pa rin sa kanya.
- Kaya rin magulo ang buong linggo natin kasi yong first day ng week which is
Sunday inaabsent nan pa natin. 2-3hours na nga lang late pa
- Sa calendar mo ba una ba siya sa schedule mo?
- Sa pera mo ba una ba siya na mabibigyan?
- Nabibigayba natin yong firsfruit natin/

2. Fear God than all your fears in life

- Nakakatawang isipin kinatakutan natin na maghirap tayo or mawalan ng pera o

maputulan ng ilaw o tubig, pero hindi tayo natakot na hindi ibigay yong tithes and
firstfruit natin.
- Natakot ka na baka mawalan ka ng trabaho kung gagawin mo yong tama sa work
mo pero hindi ka na takot na hindi ka bigyan ng success ni Lord pag di ka
sumunod sa kanya.
- Bago mo katakutan ang lahat ng bagay ng ikinatatakot mo matakot ka sa Diyos
na siyang me hawak talaga ng buhay mo at ng future mo!

3. Follow all of his ways and commands

- We are reading books about success, financial management, leadership, at mga

self help books, pero hindi mo naman binasa yong author of life, yong nagbigay
ng lahat ng laws of nature.
- Dami mong nabasang principle to succeed, pero di mo naman binasa yong pinaka
author ng lahat ng principles ng lahat ng bagay.
- Nakakalungkot binasa mo nga pero di mo naman pinaniwalaan at sinunod.

Challenge.

- Now let us really look on the very first principle of Wisdom.

- Again sino ang gusto maging matalino?
- Now follow this line of philosophy and logic...

... Gusto mo bang maging successful and masolve mag problems mo? Then you
need wisdom!
... Ano ba ang wisdom? Wisdom is understanding how life works, knowing, choosing
and doing what is right in the right time and in the right situation!
.... saan ko ba makukuha yong wisdom na yan? Di sa author and creator ng lahat ng
bagay na nakakaunawa how life works, kay God!
... Paano ko makukuha yong wisdom na yan sa kanya?

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom!

- so today let us learn to fear God, then we can have the wisdom we need to
succeed in life
