● The placement season commences on 13th September, 2019.
● The placements are open for HR College students only. No outsider is allowed to register for these placements. ● Students will receive placement updates on the email address provided to the placement cell during the registration process. The students must ensure that they have provided the right email ID and will check it regularly for updates. ● The students must also check their spam/junk mail for important emails from the placement cell. ● The HR Pulse and Orientation Program will be held before the Placement Season commences. ● It is compulsory for the students to attend the pre-placement talk of the companies they apply in, or else the student would be debarred from the placement process of that particular company. ● Students can apply for any company offered by the Placement Cell. However, once they receive a final offer from the company, they have to accept it within the days specified by the prospective employer as per the policy. Once they accept the offer, they have completed the process with the Placement Cell. ● Strict disciplinary action against students who violate any of the provisions mentioned in the policy or instruction issued by the Placement Cell, shall include having to compulsorily work for 5 to 25 hours with the Placement Cell per week depending on the severity of the misconduct by the student to be determined by the Director, Placement Cell. ● The decision of the Placement Cell Director/The Principal/The Management will be final and binding. ! ● Any student, who applies for a particular company, cannot back out during the selection process. If a student does so, he/she will be debarred from the placement process and strict disciplinary action will be taken against the student. ● The student will be allowed to sit for another company after rejecting one offer only if 80% of the applied students have been placed. ● If a student is applying for a company, he/she should have full intention of getting selected at that firm. In addition, if an offer is rejected, strict disciplinary action will be taken against the student by the college. ● If a student receives one offer from a prospective employer he cannot sit for the process of any other company and has to decide the acceptance or withdrawal from the procedure. ● Students are only allowed to deregister from a company before the commencement of the process if they provide a valid reason along with a proof which has to be mailed to the Placement Cell on the following ID placementcellhrc@gmail.com ● Students are not advised to discuss the salary package/stipend, date of joining, location preference at any time with the company directly. The institute, if necessary, will do such negotiations. ● All students should be carrying 5 hard copies of their resumes, 5 passport size photographs (in business formals) and their college ID during the placement process. Students are also required to carry their own stationery and calculator for aptitude tests, if any. ● Resumes sent to the placement cell via email must be attached in the mail as per the following format: ● FirstName_LastName_Course_Division_RollNo ● Eg: - Arvind_Patwa_TYBMS_A_123. ● Students must strictly adhere to the time allotted to them. Blacklists will be maintained of the students reaching late. ! ● The students should ensure that they adhere to the resume format provided by Placement Cell. Students must not fudge or state any facts unfit/untrue/false (partly or wholly) on their resume. It is assumed by the placement cell that all resumes sent by the student bear information, which is true to the best knowledge of the student. ● Resume should not exceed 1 page/2 sides and should be written in Times New Roman, font-size: 12 and preferably a photo should be present. In case the shortlisting is to be done by the college (if required by the company), such shortlisting will be done by the Director,Placement Cell or a committee of faculty members selected by the head of the institution. In all other cases, resumes of all students who have applied for a company and satisfy the criteria (laid by the company) will be sent to the company. ● Students must apply for companies after careful consideration. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against students who negatively impact the reputation of the college by their action or non-action with the corporates especially during recruitment process. ● Students applying for the Placement Season must be available in Mumbai during the entire placement process of a particular company. ● Placement Cell is not responsible for the job profile/description offered by the corporate. It is suggested that the student clarifies his/her doubts regarding the job description/profile with the prospective employers during the pre-placement talks. ● The list of students shortlisted by a corporate will be mailed to the students; it is the student’s responsibility to check their emails on a regular basis to avoid missing any opportunity. ● A student should remain on campus during the entire placement process and cannot leave in-between, unless they inform the placement cell members. ! ● Students must be strictly dressed in business formals while interacting with any corporate body, which includes pre placement talks, group discussions, interviews, etc. Students must maintain the appropriate decorum while interacting with a body corporate and any kind of misbehavior by any student towards any corporate would not be entertained. ● The Placement cell makes every effort to bring on campus employment opportunities from reliable employers. However, it should be clear to the students and their parents that the college has no facility for in depth screening of potential employers. The college accepts no responsibility in that matter. ● The Head of the Institution & the Placement Director have full rights to allow/disallow any student from being a part of the Placement process. They have the right to debar the student without giving any explanation or reason and their decision will be considered full & final & binding on all students & staff. ● Students who register for the company having off campus placement process are expected to reach the mentioned venue at the indicated time. Failure to do so will result in withholding the student’s mark sheet and will be debarred from further placement process. ● Students are expected to maintain a required decorum and code of conduct with the Placement Cell members. Failure to do so, the Head of the institute/Placement Director has the full right to take full action against such students. ● Students should not mention the name of the companies that have visited our campus/ are yet to visit and are expected to maintain confidentiality on the same. ● The student should communicate with the Placement Cell Only through mails at placementcellhrc@gmail.com A student should not communicate to Placement Cell members via text messages/telephonic calls.
