1.0 Scope
This document will detail the steps necessary for final assembly of the Strut.

2.0 Applicable Documents

3.0 Requirements
3.1 Equipment
3.1.1 The following tools will be necessary to perform this procedure:
 Awl or Adjustable Wrench
 Drill Bits, Jobber Length, 3/16”
 Drill, Electric, or Cordless
 Hammer, Plastic Tip
 Marker
 Open End Wrench, 3/8”
 Open End Wrench, 7/16”
 Open End Wrench, 1/2”
 Socket Set, SAE, 3/8” and 7/16” sockets

3.2 Materials
The following general supplies will be necessary to perform this procedure:

 Lacquer thinner (Cleaning labels off of parts)

 Protective gloves

1.1 Align a Strut Plate LSA (#5710-032) over the top of one Wing Strut, Aft (#5750-020) and one Wing Strut, Forward, (#5710-033)
1.2 Insert Bolt, AN4-20A (N420A) through an AN4 Washer (N4W), Strut Plate LSA (#5710-032), Wing Strut, Aft (#5750-020), Strut Plate LSA (#5710-
032), AN4 Washer (N4W) and Nut, AN4 Lock (N4LN). Hand Tighten Only.
1.3 Insert Bolt, AN4-20A (N420A) through an AN4 Washer (N4W), Strut Plate LSA (#5710-032), Wing Strut, Forward (#5710-033), Strut Plate LSA
(#5710-032), AN4 Washer (N4W) and Nut, AN4 Lock (N4LN). Hand Tighten Only.

Note: Torque Value on the AN4 bolts in this section should be between 50 inch lbs and 70 inch lbs of torque.

2.1 From the bottom of the Wing Strut Assembly, insert a screwdriver through the 5/16” hole and start adding the components pushing the
screwdriver upward.
Note: Drill out the center of the 1/8” Plastic Spacers to 3/8”
2.2 Insert (2) Plastic Spacer, 1/8” (#5530-005) inside the strut on the bottom. Use the screwdriver to align.
2.3 Insert the tapered end of the Strut Attachment Block (#5710-031) inside the Wing Strut Assembly. Use the screwdriver to align.
2.4 Insert (1) Plastic Spacer, 1/8” (#5530-005) inside the strut on the top side. Use the screwdriver to align.
2.5 From the top of the Wing Strut Assembly, Insert Bolt AN6-21A (N621A) through a Washer, AN6 (N6W), Strut Plate LSA (5710-032), Wing Strut,
Forward (#5710-033) and Strut Plate LSA (#5710-032).
2.6 On the threaded side of the bolt, insert a Washer, AN6 (N6W) and Nut, AN6 Lock (N6LN) and tighten.

Note: Torque Value on the AN6 bolts in this section should be between 160 inch lbs and 190 inch lbs of torque.

3.1 From the Top of the Wing Strut Assembly, Insert Bolt AN4-17A (N417A) through a Washer, AN4 (N4W), Wing Strut, Aft (#5750-020), Plastic
Spacer, 1/8” (#5530-005), Strut Fork (#5720-012), Plastic Spacer, 1/8” (#5530-005) and Wing Strut, Aft (#5750-020).
3.2 On the Bottom side of the Wing Strut, Aft (#5750-020), add Channel Bracket, 1” (3230-029), Washer, AN4 (N4W) and Nut AN4 Lock (N4LN), then
tighten.

Note: Torque Value on the AN4 bolts in this section should be between 50 inch lbs and 70 inch lbs of torque.

4.1 From the Top of the Wing Strut Assembly, insert Bolt AN5-17A (N517A) through a Washer, AN5 (N5W), Wing Strut, Forward (#5710-033), Plastic
Spacer, 1/8” (#5530-005), Strut Fork Forward, LSA (#5720-025), Plastic Spacer, 1/8” (#5530-005) and Wing Strut, Forward (#5710-033).
4.2 On the Bottom side of the Wing Strut, Forward (#5710-033), add Channel Bracket, 1” w/ 5/16” hole (3230-112), Washer, AN4 (N4W) and Nut AN4
Lock (N4LN), then tighten.

Note: Torque Value on the AN5 bolts in this section should be 100 inch lbs of torque.

5.1 From the Top of the Wing Strut Assembly, Insert Eyebolt AN443B-16A (EB16A) through a Washer, AN4 (N4W) and Wing Strut, Aft (#5750-020).
5.2 On the thread side of the Eyebolt, add a Washer, AN4 (N4W) and Nut AN4 Lock (N4LN), then tighten.
5.3 From the Top of the Wing Strut Assembly Insert Eyebolt AN443B-16A (EB16A) through a Washer, AN4 (N4W) and Wing Strut, Forward (#5710-
033).
5.4 On the thread side of the Eyebolt, add a Washer, AN4 (N4W) and Nut AN4 Lock (N4LN), then tighten.

6.2 Insert Bolt AN3-07A (N307A), NO Washer, Wing Jury Strut, Aft (#5750-020), Eyebolt AN43B-16A (EB16A), Wing Jury Strut, Mid (#5720-003),
followed by a Washer, AN3 (N3W), Nut AN3 (N3LN) and tighten.

7.1 Insert Bolt AN3-07A (N307A) through a Washer, AN3 (N3W), Wing Jury Strut, Forward (#5720-002), followed by a Washer, AN3 (N3W), Nut AN3
(N3LN) and tighten. (Note: The Inserts are installed and bolted in by the Factory)
7.2 Insert Bolt AN3-07A (N307A) through a Washer, AN3 (N3W), Wing Jury Strut, Aft (#5750-020), followed by a Washer, AN3 (N3W), Nut AN3
(N3LN) and tighten. (Note: The Inserts are installed and bolted in by the Factory)
7.3 In the end of each of each Wing Jury Strut, Forward (#5720-002) and Wing Jury Strut, Aft (#5750-020) place an Eyebolt, AN43B-04A (EB04A)
and Washer, AN4 (N4W) and tighten.
