As a part of EDC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, our flagship education
education-program,
CAREERS, creates opportunities for bright students from our partner rural upland communities to
attain quality college education and employment. Through CAREERS, we help top top-performing
students prepare for the college entrance examinations, secure college scholarships, livlive a balanced
student life while in campus, and prime them into becoming positive contributors to society.

The CAREERS Program not only puts significant emphasis on academic excellence, but also on values
and character formation in guiding the students to become effective catalysts of change in their
families and communities. This being one of the Program’s focuses, the Leadership Workshop
intends to develop their values and personal effectiveness first for them to meaningfully contribute
change. __________________’s
