Contract Creation
Overview
Contract Creation
a) Create a blank contract – this method is used for all new providers that have not had
a contract with The Children’s Trust.
b) Create a new contract from an existing contract – this method is used for the
renewal of any contract or for an existing provider with the same program previously
funded. (This is the only option that allows Contract Managers to copy certain contract
information including deliverables.)
1. Contracts with a start date up to and including August 1st, 2008 must be entered into
Contract Analyst by August 30th, 2008 using one of the methods listed above.
2. Contracts with a start date on or after August 2nd, 2008 must be entered into Contract
Analyst by the begin date of the contract.
3. Beginning September 1st, 2008, any contract that exists in the Black Book with a start date
up to and including September 1st, 2008 that does not exist in Contract Analyst will be
uploaded automatically from the Black Book. This process will be repeated on the 1st day
of each month thereafter. Only basic contract information will be copied from the Black
Book which results in additional work for Contract Managers. Once the upload from the
Black Book has been completed, it is no longer possible to copy the data into Contract
Analyst. Contract Managers will then be required to enter and update all contract
information manually.
