Before you get started setting out the different parts of your implementation plan make sure you've read through the
guidance notes in the lesson "Embedding great assessment in your classroom".
Please note that the information you enter here is for your own record, to guide your thinking about current practice
and as such will NOT form part of any assessment of this course.
This exercise relates to the specific class that you have previously selected to work with during
Assessment Essentials.
Developing an implementation plan will help you to achieve your assessment improvement goal by making
implementation clearer and more manageable; simultaneously, it will provide a useful demonstration of how
your own work aligns with the guidelines.
Implentation Goal :
Visible Learning aims at ‘making learning visible’ and helping teachers to see
learning through the eyes of their students. It also helps teachers to find out
how to seek and provide appropriate feedback that helps students getting
forward. Learning becomes visible when teachers are also learners, helping
students to become their own teachers.

your implementation goal and make decisions about when and how to scale your success is an important
part of making long-lasting change to your practice.
When will you sit down with a trusted colleague or line manager and do this for the first time?

We must focus instead on helping teachers change the way they use
assessment results, improve the quality of their classroom assessments, and
align their assessments with valued learning goals and state or district
standards. When teachers' classroom assessments become an integral part of
the instructional process and a central ingredient in their efforts to help
students learn, the benefits of assessment for both students and teachers will
be endless.

b) This process is chosen so that the teachers are aware of their goals and they can
come to conclusion in which area students need improvement.
c) For every lesson, objective based success criteria is designed and feedback is
given to students so that they are aware of their mistakes and they can rectify to
further enhance their learning process
d) General briefing of the success criteria is done before the students start their
differentiated activity and feedback is given after self -assessment.
