Overview
The Collaborative Configurator™ (cConfig™) is an Active Data Governance™ application that controls the assignment of
roles to individuals and is used to define tasks, roles, scenarios and business processes to match master data
responsibilities. cConfig™ is used to create and maintain role-based security, request functionality and scenario-based
posting for the following Collaborative Applications (cApps):
Collaborative Material Maintenance™ (cMat™)
Collaborative Customer Maintenance™ (cCust™)
Collaborative Vendor Maintenance™ (cVend™)
Collaborative Financing and Controlling Maintenance™ (cFICO™)
Collaborative Human Resource Maintenance™ (cHR™)

Supports multiple objects.
Supports the definition of dependencies between application roles.
Allows easy identification of conflict between application roles.
Controls permissions to roles, application-specific Org Units and business processes for each user of the application.
Delivered with a baseline/representative set of tasks, roles, scenarios and business processes.
Permits the customization of roles, scenarios, tasks and business processes to meet the business needs.
Supports the definition of scenario-level defaults.
Supports the definition of posting procedures for each scenario.
Supports the definition of message processing patterns for BAPIs and BDCs.
Enables and disables workflow emails at the role and the user level.
Displays user’s full security to roles, org units and business processes.
Allows role assignments and business process assignments to be copied from one user to another.
Allows user’s role assignments, org unit assignments and business process assignments to be temporarily assigned to
another user.
Controls an Expiration Date for roles, org units and business process assignments.
Supports CTS functionality between instances of cConfig™.
Supports copy roles and scenarios functionality.
Includes Release Preparation functionality to hide rarely used fields before a release.
Supports the customization of columns on data collection pages by roles within scenarios.
Supports Unicode.
Supports the CranSoft® Enhanced User Interface.
