Your blast pattern can have a large effect on the amount of surface area you can blast in a specific
time. The typical way most people blast creates an unnecessarily large area of overlap. By blasting
and leaving a gap between passes equal to 1/2 the width of the blast pattern and blasting the gap the
second time around, you force yourself to overlap the proper amount.
