Answer:
As the organization implemented a new computer system it realized the following
business values after the system was successfully implemented. As the organization has
an e-commerce based business so implementing a new system that allowed it to expand
globally was a great achievement. Tangible values: These are the business values which
can be measure and expressed in terms of quantities. Some examples are increased sales
and revenues, increased cost savings, reduced interest costs and operating costs. The
organization saw a considerable increase in its revenues as it attracted more customers. It
benefited in terms of cost saving as the original system needed several employee to work
on a single process. The new system on the other hand leads to automation of various
steps. Intangible values: these are the business values that add considerable business
values to the organization but they cannot be measure or expressed in terms of quantities.
Some examples are increased customer satisfaction, increased capability to recognize
loopholes, improved decision making powers. The new system allowed the customers to
view more products at a time, and the payment methods were made easy. Hence the
customer satisfaction level increased. The new system enabled the customers online chat
facilities which gave them a feel of human presence. It also enabled the employee to
