(NEF - Interest Subsidy) Scheme for Hisar, DHBVN (Haryana
Discom).

Main project features. Government of India has approved
the NEF (Interest Subsidy) Scheme to promote the capital
investment in the distribution sector by providing interest
subsidy, linked with reform measures, on the loans taken by
public and private power utilities for various capital works
under Distribution projects.

the distribution companies was developed that allowed the
companies to operate in the new Wholesale Electricity Market.
Also the transition strategy & guidelines for distribution
companies to implement Performance Standard Codes was
formulated. Training was provided on operational aspects of
distribution and generation companies through a technical
workshop at Nigeria.

 maintenance and project activities of sub-transmission system
consisting of 20 SCADA operated 66/33/11 kV Grid sub-
stations, 33 KV rail pole lines and U/G & transmission lines.
