To respond quickly and fearlessly, regardless of apparent size of the problem or opposition, the soldier-saint has a single-minded focus on duty and objective.
The soldier-saint systematically eliminates everything that doesn't lead to the goal. Everything she or he does, or others do around them, must move toward the
objective and not limit or hurt their position. This meditation takes one beyond fear and lets the soldier act direct and true.

1. The Mind of A Soldier-Saint


The Mind of A Soldier-Saint (31 minutes)
1. Sit with a straight spine.
2. Relax the arms at the sides with the elbows against the ribs. The forearms are parallel to
the ground and angled outward to form a 60-degree angle between them.
3. Hands are in closed Lotus Mudra, the finger and thumb tips all touching, with the fingers
and thumbs pointing up.
4. Eye focus is at the brow point.
5. Inhale very deeply and fully. Exhale completely. Lock the breath out. Pull the navel point in.
Apply a firm Mul Bandh.
6. As you hold the breath out, repeat mentally in 16 beats:
Sa Ta Na Ma
Sa Ta Na Ma
Sa Ta Na Ma
Sa Ta Na Ma
7. Inhale again deeply, and exhale immediately. Repeat the sequence.
