RESOLUTION 2019-02

A RESOLUTION IMPOSING THE PENALTY FOR

DBA DIVISION MEETING ABSENCES

Be it enacted by the Cor Jesu College – CSPDBA Division Officers :

WHEREAS, it is the prime duty of the DBA Officers to plan and initiate necessary regulations
in order to effectively lead the organization and serve the interest of the DBA student populace.

WHEREAS, It is the duty and responsibility of every Division Officers to be present during
meetings, participate and attend to discussions therein, address concerns and clarify pertinent
issues affecting his/her role as an officer of the Division.

WHEREAS, Division Meeting is an integral part of the organizational mandate of DBA Officers
to bring forth discussions, encourage suggestions and answer clarifications in the interest of
transparency, cooperation and understanding both among the Division of Business
Administration officers and the students.

WHEREAS, Division Meeting is a relevant time where officers discuss their concerns and
responsibilities in the exercise of their held positions. Thus, it is expected for all Division
Officers to promptly and diligently attend whenever a Division Meeting is called for by the DBA
Mayor or as organized by the College of Special Programs Student Government Officers
(CSPSG).

WHEREAS, to serve as a controlling mechanism and encourage the attendance in meetings, the
Division shall impose a penalty per committed absence in the Division meeting.

WHEREAS, the said penalty is a required fine of ₱20.00 per incurred absences or a 20 pages
written back-to-back yellow pad paper to be submitted to the Dean of the College of Special
Programs.

WHEREAS, the aforementioned sanction shall otherwise be without any exemption or

exception from the liability of paying the required fine.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of the DBA Treasurer Kaye Eidelweiss Abear, duly seconded by
all the DBA Officers, be it resolved;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that the required sanction of ₱20.00 per incurred absences
or a 20 pages written back-to-back yellow pad paper as a penalty for every committed absences
in DBA Division Meetings will be implemented.
