Volunteerism

Being a volunteer is a heart whelming experience for me knowing that I can serve other people without
expecting any return from them. Being a volunteer is like being a super hero for other people because you are
willing to help and sacrifice just for their sake. In just a simple thing you can start to become a volunteer, you
can start it from your home where you can help your parents to lessen their work, you can volunteer to teach
your siblings when they needed help for their assignments. Being a volunteer doesn't necessarily need to go
to other places to help others because you can help people who are in need in your surroundings. We need
to awake our self to become a volunteer as early as now because it will help us to become a better person, we
can also help our self to showcase the traits that we have. We can offer our strengths and time as long as we
can. Dont hesitate to help others because God see all the things that you do. Human Person All of us are
human person. We have different skills, attitudes, perspectives, beliefs and many more. We can't be like others
because each one of us is unique. We can think for our own. Ee can decide to do the things that we want. We
feel different kind of emotions. We know the right and wrong because we have brain that have the capacity to
think for the right things unlike the animals which only uses their instinct. Human person us the measure of all
the things that exist and the things that not exist. Human persons are not perfect because we are all making
mistakes in every seconds in our lives. We can share our thoughts and ideas to others. There are a lot of
things that we can do so we must be thankful to our creator. Values Development for Citizenship Training As
a citizen of our country, we should know the values that we are doing. Filipino have a lot of beliefs. We have
also a lot of good values that even the foreign people are very happy and amazed because of our attitudes
towards them. We always put God in everythinf that we've done, we called it "pagkamaka diyos" because we
believe that we must be thankful to him beacuse if he don't sacrificed his own son, we are not all here on
earth. Second is being "makatao" we always think and consider if we can hurt the feelings of other people
before we do something. Many of us are generous and always willing to help other especially when thehre are
calamities, we show our unity. Third is "makabayan" although we patronize other culture and products, we still
not forget our own country. We also show our support to our "kababayan" and we still show the presence of
being a real Filipino by loving and giving respect to our own country. Lastly is "makakalikasan" a lot of us
secured the mother nature because it is one of the important thing that we need for us to live. We are
promoting the beauty of our nature and we still protect our natural resources. Cwts The Civic Welfare Training
Service is very helpful for us because in this subject we learn on how to serve other people. Like volunteerism,
we should know how to help the people who are in need. We learn on how to serve the community and it
prepare us to become a better person because it thought us a lot of things especially on how to become
more discipline person. I have a lot of knowledge that I will apply in the future. It will help you to improve and
discover the things that you don't know yet. This subject really suits me because I love to serve and help other
people. Leadership training Being a leader also shoulder a big responsibility on a certain group. It is your
choice if you want to become a follower or you you want to become a leader to other people. Sometimes,
other people are afraid if they are being appointed to become a leader because they are afraid to failure. They
dont want to be blamed to the decision and circumstances that they may face. But let us also remember that
in our life we should not always become a follower, we should face our fear to lead others because as a future
educator ee will become the guide of our future students so as long as we're still student we should improve
and enhance our skills being a leader. The leadership training helps us a lot because we learned om how to
listen to the instructions although there are many barriers. We just need to focus and cooperate to a group.
Being a leader doesn't mean that you are the superior. Being a great leader means having a good interaction
and know how to respect and accept the suggestion of his/her subordinates Campus safety and security This
lesson also helped us a lot to better understand every situation in terms of security. We should follow the
rules and regulation of our campus because it is for our own good and safety. I also learned who are the
person that is responsible for the students inside the campus. The physical security involves the protection of
the buildings, facilities and members of academic community. In a campus they should have an emergency
team that will rescue the victims when an unexpected situations will happen. There should be also a disaster
assessment team where they are responsible for any natural phenomena that may attack us anytime.
Preparedness is necessary. It is better to prevent than to cure. Even the security guards have a big role in out
security because they ensure that we are safe inside the campus all the time. Social menace of drug addiction
Nowadays, there are a lot of cases of drug addiction. It means that the person is being addicted or being
dependent on drugs. There are a lot of bad effects in our health if we intake drugs. We can lose our control
and can also hurt other people. It can destroy our future. There are a lot of kinds of drugs in the world but we
should not use any of these for our own good. Drugs do not have any good effect in our life, we should help
the people to encourage them from stop using it and tell them the possible effects if they will continue to do
it. There are also cases that someone died because of the high dosage of the drugs that they intake. Many
people used marijuana, ecstasy, cocaine, shabu, and many more to fulfill their addictions. Sometimes when
they are very high they forgot the moral uprightness and they don't know what they are doing. As long as we
can, NEVER try to use any kind of these because it can destroy your dreams and future.

Mass casualty
 This activity is one of my favorite. We experiences and learned a lot of things. In this activity we play
the victim role which we acted like we are really hurting and it is a little bit awkward because Im not good in
acting. We played the role of being an earthquake victim. The prostetics and make ups are really good which
turn out to become like a real wounds and bruises. So when the activity started the first aider really did their
best to help us and make sure that we are safe. Although there are a little bit mistake but still its a thumbs up
for them. This activity really amazed me because it depicts the possible outcomes if that phenomena will
really happen. It help us to become prepare and to know the things that we should priorities in terms of
unexpected situations. It also guide us on how we can help others also because we learned on how to give
first aid if needed.

Team building
 This activity is very fun. At first, me and my team are very shy to each other but when the activity
started, even though we dont know each other we still show the cooperation in our group. We learned
different strategies and ideas on how we can solve every struggle and challenges in every station. We learned
how to become one. We listen to each other which is one of the most important thing in a team. Every station
is very hard because it tested our determination and unity. Im greatful for my team mates because they are
very kind and good listener. All of us became a leader and a follower because we gave chance to each of us to
suggest and tell their ideas and by that even though we don't win Im still happy because we did our best and
we enjoy the activity and learned the true meaning of unity which is the most important thing that we gained.

First aid

Before being a first aider you should also know a lot of things. First aider have a big role in saving lives
of people so he/she must be careful in what she/he will do. Mr. Malongga thought us different ways on how
we can help other people in different situations and scenarios. A lot of things that I've learned. In simple
choking, I already knew how can I help a the person who is being choke. I also learned on how to put first aid
in different circumstances, for example for head injury, arm injury and so many more. These helps us a lot to
apply the information that we gained to help other people someday.
