WMSU ENROLLMENT PROCESS


(Reference: WMSU-VPAA-PM-001 - Enrollment Process Procedures Manual)

1 ADVISING & APPROVAL


• Advising at Respective Departments
• Approval of Red Forms
• Any changes to the red form must be counter-signed by the adviser/department head
• Ensure your subject schedules are not in conflict because overlapping schedules are no longer
allowed. Inform your department head if you notice conflicts in schedule.

2 ENCODING
• Encoding at Enrollment Points per College. Encoding of subjects will be exclusive to each college.
• Conflicting schedules are not allowed.
• Secure an approval from the service college for Inter-College enrollment.

3 ASSESSMENT
• Assessment at Enrollment Service Points for each college or at the WMSU Assessment Section
• Assessed fees can be viewed and printed from the myWMSU student portal and for students needing
hardcopies of the Assessed fees, please go to the WMSU Assessment section

4 PAYMENT OPTIONS
• You only have to show your valid ID to the University Cashier for payment if your fees have been assessed.
• Payment via ANY Landbank Branch Across the Philippines.
o You or your parents can opt to pay at any Landbank branch across the Philippines, not just Landbank WMSU.
o Accomplish in Triple (3) copies the Landbank CASH Deposit Slip. One copy will belong to the bank, One will be
turned over to the WMSU cashier and the other will be your copy. Account Name: WMSU Tuition, Account
Number: 3232-2220-09

• There are three Landbank Branches in Zamboanga City (WMSU, Veterans, and Petit Barracks).
a. If payment was made in Zamboanga, you can Present the deposit slip with the details from the bank at any time at
the WMSU Counter for Landbank Payments.
b. If payment was made out of town, present the color-printed scanned copy of the deposit slip at least a day after
the transaction has been made. Ensure you give the original copy BEFORE THE MIDTERM.
• Ensure your subject schedules are not in conflict because overlapping schedules are no longer allowed. Inform your
department head if you notice conflicts in schedule.

5 ENLISTMENT (PRINTING OF COR)


• COR will be printed immediately after payments are made at the Cashier. Students only have to wait for their
names to be called for the COR. Printing of COR (i.e. enlistment) will mean inclusion in the official classlist.
• For students who have already enlisted, any change in schedule will be processed at MISTO. Student must present
the approved change in schedule form with their COR.

NOTE: Admission procedure is excluded from the above enrollment process.

CHANGING OF SCHEDULE
(RE-ENLISTMENT)

This procedure is only applicable for all those students with printed Certificate Of
Registration (COR) and have successfully completed the enrollment process. The
change schedule request includes changing of subject ID, adding or deleting of
subjects. Changing of schedule is only allowed within the period of enrollment.
Change Schedule Request Form is also available in the myWMSU student portal.

•  CHANGE SCHEDULE REQUEST APPROVAL

•  Fill-out the Change Schedule Request Form and have it signed by the
program adviser and approved by the department head.

•  If subject is from another college, secure an Inter-College form and have it
approved by the concerned college.

•  RE-ENCODING @ MISTO

2 • Proceed to MISTO at RE-ENLISTMENT window for re-encoding of subjects. You


will be asked to present your previous COR and Enrollment Form.

•  RE-ASSESSMENT OF FEES

3 •  In case there is a change in units, you will be asked to proceed to Assessment


section for re-assessment of fees.

•  RE-PRINTING OF COR

4 •  Proceed to MISTO RE-ENLISTMENT window for the updated Certificate of


Registration.

INTER-COLLEGE ENROLLMENT
This procedure is only applicable to students who wants to take a subject offered by
another program from a different college. This is to ensure that the class size of that
subject are managed and controlled by the receiving college. Inter-College Enrollment
Form is also available in the myWMSU student portal.

• ADVISING OF SUBJECTS

• Program adviser includes subject from another college in the students


Enrollment Form
1 • NOTE: Make sure corrections in the Enrollment Form must be duly signed by
the program adviser.

•  INTER-COLLEGE ENROLLMENT APPROVAL

•  Student fills-out the Inter-College Enrollment Approval Form and have it


recommended by department head or program head of the receiving and
approved by their dean.
2 •  NOTE: Inter-College enrollment is only allowed within the campus where their
program belongs to (i.e. College of Agriculture & College of Forestry belongs
to separate campus).

•  ENCODING AT THE ENROLLMENT SERVICE POINTS

•  Present a photocopy of the approved form to the encoder at the Enrollment


3 Service Points in the respective colleges. The original copy will be submitted to
the program adviser upon surrendering of COR.
•  In case student already have the printed COR, re-encoding of is done at the
MISTO RE-ENLISTMENT window.

•  ASSESSMENT, PAYMENT, & PRINTING OF COR

•  Continue the process of enrollment from assessment to enlistment (printing of

COR).
•  In case of re-enlistment, proceed to MISTO RE-ENLISTMENT window for the
updated copy of the COR.

How to fill-out the Inter-College Enrollment Form


Refer to the form below for the proper filling-out of the Inter-College Enrollment Form. Inter-
College Enrollment Form is also available in the myWMSU student portal.

1. Student fills-out their basic


information and the details of
the subject that they want to
enroll.

2. MISTO encoder fills-out the


current number of enrollees for
the specified time & date.

3. Department head
(Receiving College) of the
program where the subject is
offered recommends the
request for approval.

4. Dean of the receiving


college approves the
student’s enrollment in the
requested subject.
