ANALYSING THE DATA

Analysing the data of terror attacks across the world. The dataset we
have contains many columns of different data. There are about 138
columns having many numeric and string type data.

Among 138 columns many columns have null values which are
unnecessary.
By removing these unnecessary columns we obtained a partially
clean dataset. This dataset also contain many missing values and
perform different missing value treatments.
OPERATIONS PERFORMED

More than 80,000 bombings resulted,

second biggest grouping is Armed Assaults~40,000 attacks

Terror groups ordered by the no. of causalities

FUTURE SCOPE OF IMPROVEMENTS

Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) of correlation - Linear

model, polynomial regression, 3rd order polynomial
regression and other ML prediction models can be used
to determine future possibility and severity of attacks in
any particular country, region, state/city by any
particular terrorist group or individuals i.e., to predict
which terrorist group has higher possibility to attack next
in any future location.
CONCLUSION and REFERENCES

We performed analysis on GLOBAL TERRORISM

dataset in a very brief manner and came out to be
successful in answering several questions regarding
terrorist attacks and resulting causalities.
