Instance Isolation with Elastic Network Interfaces

This is an introductory course on how to isolate your AWS instances with elastic network
interfaces. In this course, we discuss an approach to managing the forensics of your
system in AWS. We also review how you can manage the isolation of your compromised
instances for security and forensics purposes by using network interfaces in conjunction
with security groups and permissions.
Internet of Things Foundation Series
The Internet of Things (IoT) Foundation Series comprises a set of courses that offer a
broad experience across IoT Core and its associated services. Each class in the series is
centered around a scenario where a fictitious customer has a business challenge. The

Introduction to Amazon API Gateway

Introduction to Amazon Athena
This course introduces the Amazon Athena service along with an overview of its operating

Neural Machine Translation with Sockeye

This in-depth training will show you how to implement neural-machine translation using
Sockeye, a sequence-to-sequence framework for neural machine translation based on
Apache MXNet. We'll review the disadvantages of statistical language models and the
advantages of neural language models, with their ability to detect language nuances like
semantics and context. We'll give you an overview of long-term dependencies for
language models, and then show you how to use reference and context to validate the
translation. Finally, we'll cover methods for generating output, Attentional NMT with
several neural networks, and measurement of translation performance. We'll wrap things

Satellite Image Classification in SageMaker

This course begins with a thorough walk-through of the machine learning process and a
discussion on how to frame the business problem for satellite image recognition. You’ll
learn about current approaches and methods for gathering and classifying satellite image
data, as well as the process for assembling training data. You’ll also see examples of how
to use Amazon SageMaker along with open-source tools like Apache MXNet, Pytorch, and
Tensor Flow. The second part of this course deals with the technical aspects of satellite
image recognition, specifically, data acquisition and feature recognition. Special emphasis
is placed on how convolutional neural networks are used to filter for pattern, edge, shape,
and texture recognition. By following the use-case examples, you’ll learn how to use
MXNet with Amazon SageMaker to manage multiple GPUs for distributed processing. This
part concludes with a real-time demo using all of the applications and methods described
in this module.
