Pre-Lesson Sit down, Stand up Pre-Lesson Activity:


 Teacher gives statement based on the picture. Task 5
 If the statement is true pupils stand up but if the statement is
false pupil will sit down.

Lesson Listen and tick 21st Century Learning skills:


Development  Teacher asks volunteers to describe each one of the pictures. Thinking Skills
 Teacher explains the task: “You will listen to a woman talking
about her son, Dan to her friend on the CD. What sport does Dan
do? You have to tick the sport that her son does.” [C.S. 1.2.5]

Guessing game
 Ask pupils to take the cut-out card. 21st Century Learning skills:
 Ask pupils to work in pairs. They play a game using their cards Communication
and the question and answer forms from this lesson.
 Ask pupils to take turn asking and answering questions.
 Ask pupils to mingle around and find new pairs and repeat the
activity. [M.S. 2.1.5]

Post-Lesson Hot Seat Formative Assessment:


 Ask a volunteer comes to the front and answer the questions Hot seat
asked by others. The others will guess who the volunteer is.
