Note, not exactly like WW2.

1939 - The most powerful nations in the world point their

militaries at one another. Millions of men and women are conscripted, drafted, and
volunteered into the ranks of forces greater than any in history before them. No longer are
wars fought for ideals or power, but for survival. Smoke billows from engines, darkening the
sky. A fog of war settles into the landscape. The rolling hills and forests part for the tide of
machines and manpower blazing across the continents. The ground rumbles. The sky cracks.
War will forever be changed.(edited)
The US, Pan-Asian Alliance, the Allies of Europe, the Iron Cross Nations, the Soviet Union,
and various Middle-Eastern/North African countries account for the majority of warring
nations(edited)
About Equipment When building your character, stick to equipment you would expect to
find in the 40s. I'll work with you personally on anything more diesel punky.
Iron Cross PCs If you fought in the Great War (1914-1918), you lived under the NAZI
regime. You'll also likely be an officer under the Iron Cross. The NAZIs were crushed many
years ago, but the damage they did still shows in your country. The wounds are still fresh.
You burned your old banner, your patches of military service, your arm bands, your papers,
your old life. You may have changed your name, moved to another town, and made an
effort to cut contact with your family. You are a ghost and a relic. The world may forget who
you were, but you can never forget what you've done.
. If you were not old enough to have fought in the Great War, you grew up in a dystopia.
Your home is war torn and your economy is crippled. You had tough beginnings, and it isn't
going to get any easier. It was called the Great War because the world stage had never seen
anything as horrific as it before, and certainly not on such a scale. As it turns out, it can get
SO much worse. You have been conscripted into an even bigger conflict than your father
ever dreamed of.
