Applicant 1: I am a self- starter with a strong interpersonal skills. I work efficiently both
as an individual contributor as well as long with a team. I seek new challenges and
try to think out out-of-the-box while looking for creative solutions to a given
problem.

Manager: Why are you applying for this position?


Applicant 1: I applied for this job because I believe that my skills and experience working in the same field qualifies me for
the job.

Manager: Ok ms. Teston, what motivates you?


Applicant 1: My biggest motivations is my family. They are my biggest source of inspirations and my strongest supporters
as well. When I see my parents working , it gives me drive to be like them.
Manager: What are your strengths?
Applicant 1: My biggest strengths are my compassion and ability to solve difficult problems.

Manager: Where do you see yourself in five years?


Applicant 1: In 5 years I would like to have the profound knowledge of nursing by way of earning a doctoral degree, so I
can serve people with more advanced technique.

Manager: Why should I hire you?


Applicant 1: You should hire me because I have 4 years of experience in nursing that equips me with the ability to handle
critical cases with utmost patience. I will do my best to bring innovation to nursing that can improve healthcare outcomes.

Manager: Good Afternoon Ms. Parado, Please have a seat. How are you today?

Manager: Tell me something about yourself?


Applicant 2: Currently, I serve as the assistant to three of the company’s five executive team members, including
the CEO. From my 12 years of experience as an executive assistant, I’ve developed the ability to anticipate
roadblocks and create effective alternative plans.

Manager: What motivates you?


Applicant 2: Making a true a difference in the lives of my patients and their families motivate me to strive for
excellence in everything I do. I look forward to seeing my patient’s reactions when we get a positive outcome that
will change their lives forever. That’s why I became a nurse, and why I’m pursuing a position in pediatrics.

Manager: What are your greatest strengths?


Applicant 2: I’m a natural problem-solver. I find it rewarding to dig deep and uncover solutions to challenges—
it’s like solving a puzzle. It’s something I’ve always excelled at, and something I enjoy.
Manager: What are your greatest weaknesses?
Applicant2: Earlier in my career I noticed that because I was so enthusiastic about my work, I had a tendency to
say ‘yes’ when I should have been saying ‘no.’ At one point I ended up so overwhelmed by my workload, taking
on so many projects, that I was working evenings and weekends. It was stressful, and that stress affected my
production quality.

Manager: Where do you see yourself in five years?


Applicant2: In five years, I’d like to be an industry expert in my field, able to train and mentor students and entry-
level nurse like me . I would also like to gain specialized experience in user experience to be a well-rounded
contributor working with design and marketing teams on large-scale projects that make a difference both in the
company and the global community.

Manager: Why should we hire you?


Applicant2: I have a passion for application development that’s grown stronger over the course of my career. The
company’s mission aligns with my personal values and, from my limited time in the office, I can already tell this
is the sort of positive culture in which I would thrive. I want to work for a company that has the potential to
reshape the industry, and I believe you’re doing just that.
