1. Will you call yourself a movie/TV series enthusiast? Yes

2. How many movie/TV series do you watch in a month? 2-3
3. What is your primary source of consumption of entertainment (Movies/TV Series)?
e.g. Netflix or theatres etc. Theatres for movie because I watch it for the whole experience
and netflix for tv series because they’re more time consuming. I don’t prefer watching Netflix for
socializing.
4. If theatres, why? If Netflix or any other, why? Theatres because I enjoy movie viewing
experience with my loved ones. I like going out for movie and possibly dinner. Theatre consumption is
mostly for the experience.
5. What are the advantages of going to a theatre? They deliver great viewing experince. If I’m a
movie fan I’d prefer watching that particular movie in a first day first show because that’s the kind of social
experience I enjoy. Going out, being with people you care about is the part of the experience. You don’t
get that when you’re watching it on Netflix.
6. What are the disadvantages of going to a theatre? Banglore traffic. It’s not
always convenient going out. Netflix is coming up with great content at convince of home. Theatres are
dying. Some of them are not even well maintained and don’t deliver upto expectations.

8. Do you ever feel the need of watching old movies/TV series in theatres with your friends? Not
for social entertainment. It’s normally based on recommendations of friends to explore old movies I missed
out on.

9. What are your comments on the idea? Great idea, loved the concept.
10. What improvements do you need in the current idea? Actual effort in social gatherings is
taking time out for family and going out it’s not just end results. The journey/ hassle itself is an experience
which is why I go to theatre.
11. What experiences can be included to make the idea better? Safety and movie theatre like
experience. I don’t want it to be like tv watching experience. I would use it for functions like
valentine’s day,social gatherings, weddings or birthday parties but not as a substitute for movies.
12. How much would you pay for the experience per person? Upto 1000 if it is private screening
for 2-3 people. If there are more people I would expect discount.
13. Will you stop going to a theatre altogether if our idea includes new releases as well? No, there
will be people who will always prefer theatre. For example if you’re a marvel fan you won’t miss out
on first day first show because it’s form of art appreciation. It’s a tradition. I don’t see it as substitute.
