HERA (planned to be the embodiment of the harsh deterministic world)

LOCKE (planned to be the embodiment of the optimism of being able to choose for way you wanted
things to be)

ONE DAY way back from 18 years ago, a Senator longed to extend the vision he had of a free world to
those who aren’t as gifted as him. Every now and then he would go to the poorer places of the world
in order to help unfortunate kids get the freedom to decide for their future. One time, a young boy
stood out among the other delegates, making the Senator have the personal liking to him, eventually
adopting him into his own family as his son and brother to his other relatively young son. They two
both grew to be fine men of science and technology, living closely as real brothers should, each living
the way would eventually shape the world. However, Hera (protagonist), the boy from the slums, had
a different interpretation of shaping the world.

EVERYDAY, the world would live their fullest, often enjoying themselves with the technological
advancements that greatly helped their lives and most of all, the freedom of choosing who you
wanted to be…to chose the body in which could encapsulate your consciousness. Several years ago,
the Senator had founded this technology and ever since then the world was given a new way to be
free…..and so to be bounded. As the years go by since then, the distinction of those who can avail this
service of body swap grew wider, so much to the point that those who couldn’t were excluded
physically from the norm by borders of the main society, while those who could, kept on going on in
their lives and the freedom of options that they have. Fast forward to present, these people who are
privileged enough to be part of the norm eventually lost knowledge of those who aren’t theirs and
just referred to them as foreigners from far desolate land.

UNTIL ONE DAY, several cases of crime were observed within the border, with most of them having
something to do with the industry of the Body Swap. But what actually called the attention of the
people, were the fact that its not the local police’s effort that these were found out. According to
some witnesses, it is said that a certain group of people begun to act vigilante to “expose” these
cases.

BECAUSE OF THAT, a special division of the police force was formed to discover what are the motives
of this vigilant group as well as its connection to the crimes they had “uncovered”. The position of
leading the team was given to Locke, the biological son of the now ill Senator, and step brother to
Hera, who rejected the position in order to act as a supporting cast. Bearing the responsibility of being
the son of founder of the system now in suspicion, Locke was determined to break the conspiracy as
he had high hopes of what the system has to offer to people’s freedom in life. However, what he
doesn’t know is that there isn’t actually a “group” but only one person that could exploit the Body
Swap industry into remotely transferring his consciousness to subjects, and it was actually Hera on
helm of those vigilant acts.

BECAUSE OF THAT, Hera was given enough time to execute his plans, that is to act in a vigilant/heroic
way in order to aware people of the treat the Body Swap system secretly had, only to later topple the
social anxiety to bring the whole system altogether. The two continue a cat-mouse chase as to whom
executes his own plan first, would Locke know who Hera actually is and his plans, or it would be Hera
to topple the system first.

UNTIL EVENTUALLY, on Hera’s nearing success, on that one point he had to possess someone from
Locke’s team, they had a conversation in which Locke already had the doubts in Hera, the System,
these “possession” stuffs and to himself, he asked “the one possessing his teammate”, what is the
reason why he should go far. Hera, in control of the body, told on how the people outside the borders
had to live a life of agony as each one of them slowly cease to live while see those inside the borders
only enjoy themselves. He claimed that the Senator’s vision of giving everyone freedom was phony,
and he said that everything was predetermined as he know, the people outside the borders didn’t
chose to be and so he wants to prove that so do the people inside the border also has a destiny
waiting to be called only. In which Hera leaves and executes his final performance. Locke was left with
the idea of how ignorant he had been, thinking that he had always failed to serve the vision of his
father to everyone. But nonetheless, he continued his mission until he finally caught Hera, all in his
success of bringing the people inside the borders in disarray against the system. Both see each other
as Hera was sent to a special prison as asked by Locke himself

EVER SINCE THEN, Hera spent his time in the prison until Locke came to visit him one day, bringing
the news of how the industry of Body Swap has been put to debate whether or not it should be
continued as well as the situation of the people outside of the borders were brought to light. Locke,
being the optimist, offered to work together with Hera as brothers again, believing that if not anyone
was able to be completely free, then maybe together they could make a world in which one could
“choose his destiny”, different to the open ended world created by their father. Hera only smiled, and
leaves a word, ending open-ended for the readers mind to fill in what was Hera’s response (tentative)

NOTES (a.k.a. mga hindi kinayang icompress sa isang “story spine”):

- The Senator’s conclusion ends between the second “Because of that” and “Until eventually”

- The body swap occurs with the use of a technological cord, connected to the nape of a real person
to a technologically made body in which he/she wanted to transfer his consciousness to.

- Hera already has his plan in mind, even before he was adopted by the Senator, considering the Body
swap begun long before he was adopted

- Hera uses a certain machine to hijack one’s artificial body despite being only in one place. The
person subject for possession was considered to be “Unconcious” while Hera takes over.

- Hera constantly remain only in one place, often monitoring the inner borders with cameras spread
all over that place which he could find a prospect to “possess”

- Yung ending maam supposedly hindi cliffhanger pero maraming pwedeng outcome
- Gusto ko sana maam magkaroon ng duality sa kanila regarding sa mindset ni Hera na strongly
nagtitiwala sa destiny/fate habang optimist si Locke na may option ang bawat tao sa lahat ng gagawin
nila at hindi basta bibigay sa mali.

- Bale sinadya ko talaga maam na maging late, kasi naghanap pa ako ng theme na gusto kong iplay out
the rest of the story (Like time travel dun sa example nyo maam)

- Pacritique nalang maam kahit may minus sa pagiging late haha, better late basta medyo malayo sa
pagiging mediocre, nahirapan ako icompress into something na madedescribe yung mental states nila.
