By learning data science I would be able to have solid grasp over the
concept and will have high chance with getting freelancing offers. As
python is one of the best tool out their, I would like a certificate and
knowledge to show my competency. Also, coursera is the most
competent brand which has already shown its quality in the field of
MOOC, I won’t have to feel any anguish over quality. As an anecdot, in
past when I tried for a job in data science, I was given a low skill data
entry job, which wasn’t even permanent, so now I want to have some
certification in data science and most preferably Python and R. Since
coursera do provide financial help, I thought about taking course here
and get a good data science related job. For same I would like to thank
coursera for this wonderful opportunity, it has given to us financially
weak people.

I had tried to take python in past but wasn’t able to finish. Now I want to
take this course and get free lancing job in data science. Right now I
don’t have any source of income. I also have to pay for my living
expenses which is hard for me to get by. I would like if I can make some
non financial contribution to Coursera. Actually, I come from India which
is a middle income economy with around 2k per capita Income. Even
the energy level jobs require college degree and good specialisation. To
get job and being distinguished from the crowd one need to have some
certification. And right now I don’t have job. That’s why I have to apply
for financial aid. I could have done this course with audit only option,
but in that case I wouldn’t have the certification which I need to show
during interviews. I hope coursera uunderstands my need and helps
me.

1. Well let’s say demonetisation didn’t fought people who had or still
have black money. Let’s say what view point you are saying is also
 right. But that’s one outcome. Let me show you another picture.
Demonetisation streamlined economy. Demonetisation promoted
digitisation. Forced people to use online platforms which helped
inclusiveness of direct benefits without meddle man. According for
Forbes peer to peer transfer increased by more than 700% and e
transaction increased 400% in one year itself. Right now UPI
transactions itself has increased more than 10th of thousand times.
Just before demonetisation monthly transaction was valued
between 1-2cr and transaction number at 60k-70k and now its
touching more than 6lack crore every year with more than 370cr
transaction in 2018.

3. Actually, every bodies expected that employment was high, with
how demonetisation was employed, but why is no one commenting
about how unemployment reduced from 2014 till 2016. It doesn’t
mean that government is not doing anything for employment,
neither is employment is being not created. Yeh, there are problem,
but they can’t be sorted out in 5 or 10 years. Don’t forget India
have 132cr people with 50% population less than 25 years. And
India always has employment problem that’s why there is mgnrega.
4. Do you even know what changes have happened in GDP
calculation method. Parroting the media and idiots are new fashion.

Before 2014 telecoms output was calculated on the basis of how many
sims company was selling. So what happened, people who has more
than 5-6 sims where calculated as the output of company was
increasing but in reality the consumer was only using 1 sim and other
sim were discarded after offer was over. Now CSSO is calculating on
the basis of how many minute one is using service I.e Internet or call. I
think you understand how it’s better 100s of times.

Before 2014 the price of output was calculated on the basis of

product’s input cost, but now its being calculated on how much
consumer is paying, as all countries are already doing.

Now the point that all hyped about, change in base year. Did someone
paused and thought, why base year was 2004-2005. It must have
happened somewhere between 06-11, during congress regime. What
was the need. Let me tell you, every economy in the world changes
base year to make growth calculation more inclusive and upto date.
5. Raghuram Rajan, once one of the few people I liked, now for me
another economist who is batting for finance ministry post in

questioning the data, government should appoint a committee to

7. Yeh time, what a sweet word. GST was to be implemented for last

collecting record revenue after few glitches. How business friendly
it is. Just cry there was problem.
8. Rapes.....I won’t say. I am with however anyone fighting it. If BJP is
with these people than I am against such people. But I think every
country has some section who might have conflicting ideologies
but there are some who blame girls. I am against those people who
are with genuine rapist,period. But I don’t know if it’s only BJP. BJP
has thousand of elected representative. Here in this study you will
find how common it is to think women enjoy rape and how under
reported rapes are. I think there are even women who blames girl
for rape. rape is a serious problem I won’t defend with data and
anything, but please do know that officially and unofficially India is
one of the world safest country for women, even if you consider
cases don’t get reported. I can’t find the link of how much
unreported rape are country wise, it as far as I remember India, uk,
USA, EU, all were in same range(according to foreign publishers)
and India has rape rate of 5.7 per lack much better than most
developed countries. Don’t forget that the reasons rapes are not
 reported are same everywhere in the world, so the arguments like
rapes go unreported in India is culturally flawed. Women’s are
treated same everywhere. And expectation are same as well. Rape
survivors are treated same as well. The social constraints are every
where. You can see #me too movement was most successful in
India.
9. Cow lynching, hmmm, India has only 138 personnel for 1 lack
people, one of the lowest among sizeable countries. So It must be
that it’s people who are responsible for security and safety of
themselves. Hmm, but the question is how India have crime rate
less than USA and UK. It’s the people and India’s culture. People
here don’t depend on police for their safety. Police takes more than
1 of 2 hours just to reach villages. So lynching is natural, only idiots
will question why lynching happens. Now if we consider how most
Indians live in village and depends on agri or dairy or horticulture,
and how Indian villages have more than 20cr cows of around 180cr
cattles, I think one can guess, the only thing villages have in
common that can be stolen are cattle’s. it’s just the pro left media
which is high lighting it after 14. Below you can see how cattle case
reporting goes down drastically around 1980 and how it started to
increase after 2010. I don’t think it’s natural and btw, this was the
period the Hindu political parties started to emerge and Hindu vote

10. India doesn’t have adequate number of doctors, India doesn’t have
adequate number of beds. India doesn’t have adequate number of
medical institutes. So anyone can guess how fractured government
institute must be. Ayushmann Bharat is world biggest Medicare
scheme, it will fail a lot in initial days, but it must be successful if
India has to improve its basic ground reality. We have government
institutes, and we know how good are. It’s private institute which
have worked in india, be company, school or service. Government
institutes are crap apart from few where there are no dearth of
resources like IIM,IIT. So Ayushmann Bharat is trying to make
private institute more prominent in medical field for poorer. What’s
wrong with people. It’s is not even a year and they are expecting
results or maybe praying for failure.
