with 1 ss in the first hdc.

1. Ch 200. Join stitches into a ring by working 1 ss.

2. Ch 1. Work hstm in each ch in the round. Finish with 1 ch in the first hdc. (200)

3. Ch 1. Work hdc between the first 2 hdc from the previous row. Work hdc between all stitches
around. Finish with 1 ss in the first hdc. (200)
Repeat round 3 for a total of 39 times.


Edge:
Ch 1. Work 1 sc in the first s. Ch 2, work 1 ss in the 2nd ch from the hook. Work 1 sc in the next s of
the cowl.
”Work 1 sc in the next s, ch 2, work 1 ss in the 2 nd ch from the hook. Work 1 sc in the next s of the
cowl”. Repeat from ”to” around. Finish with 1 ss in the first sc. Cut the yarn and weave in the ends.

Work the edge on the opposite side of the cowl the same way.
