The Role:

Accountable for producing and maintaining system design deliverables (including, but not
limited to drawings, BOMs, 3D models and sketches) in accordance with industry standards,
codes and client specifications.

Support discipline engineers and other designers to ensure that the design is accurately captured
in the 2D/3D design software.
Recommend any 2D/3D tools, hardware and software to improve design efficiency and control.
Lead the preparation of CTR's and man hour estimates for drawings.
Develop and maintain comprehensive, standardized and accurate drawing blocks, symbols,
templates, spread sheet etc. in compliance with Company quality standards.
Draft detailed design systems in accordance with Company quality standards, industry standards,
codes and client specifications.
Establish good working relationships and communication with discipline leads, department
managers and clients.
Contribute to development and maintenance for CAD software.
Responsible for development of the designers' skills.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

COMPETENCIES:
 Computer literate in CAD - drafting software i.e. AutoCAD
 Good experience in 3D CAD, (i.e. PDMS, CADWorx applications).
 Experience with floater (i.e. FPSO, FSO, MOPU) marine system design.
 Good knowledge of PTS standards.
 Knowledgeable in international codes and standards (e.g. IEC, etc)

EXPERIENCE:
 Min. 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in applying 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD)
drafting and design of Electrical and/or Instrument in the oil and gas industry.

QUALIFICATION:
 Minimum Advanced Diploma.
