The following table (Table 1.1) shows the product specification for the gearbox to be manufactured.
Various information such as the appearance, sizes, dynamic requirements, costs amongst others are
tabulated.

a. The final product should be polished.
b. The final product should be painted.
c. The final product should not have any sharp/rough
edges.
d. The final product should be visually appealing.
e. The final product should have a metallic finish.
a. The maximum footprint of the product should be
50 x 50 cm.
b. The product should not exceed a maximum height
of 50 cm.
c. The product should be about 10 kg.

c. Output Speed: Will range between 600-700 rpm

e. Input and Output shafts will extend 50 mm outside
of the gearbox.

temperatures.
